First and foremost, why were you that careless that your employer get to know before PPR. This kind thing, na after PPR person dey let the dog out of the bag, when you already know say CoPR don sure. Anyway, nothing do you. Just maintain your champion. You no need to IRCC anything. Are they monitoring your life ni?
My one cent opinion

At the bolded, that is not supposed to be the fault of the applicant. And it's not about carelessness, in my opinion. Very many people I know tell their employer before they write, so if the employer chose to react that way, it is not the applicant's fault. Don't forget that CIC calls the employer to verify the reference letter. If they show surprise to CIC when the call comes, that could lead to a refusal of application, which is a worse error.

For me, the employer is acting wrongly, but the applicant did the right thing.

I was travelling with my toddler so i put it in his backpack as his snacks. Most airlines will allow snacks for toddlers. I just took my chances with the yoghurt though. It wasnt the liquid drinking yoghurt was the small tub ones. Hope this helps.

I was 26 when I got my MSc, so the age bar for employment didn’t allow me skip through the screening stage. God knows I tried my best to get job but none came except primary school which I didn’t take up.
The reason I pushed for this immigration

I will be landing with family of (3) in Calgary first week in August. How do I go about this no experience thing? Please how can I find a career path, I will appreciate your views ( even if it’s going back to school)

Sorry to ask o, but how did you get PPR without experience?

I said it’s a family of 3, hubby is the principal applicant, my work experience is not required,I only evaluated my credentials and wrote ielts for additional points

I will be starting my Ph.D. in September and I want to begin the express entry application. Would they ask me to go back to Nigeria at some point when I begin this process? Your advice will be appreciated

You basically have an opportunity to venture into any career that might fascinate you. Look inwards to your strengths and qualifications and look at jobs that might be in demand where you are settling down. Something might resonate with you.

Don't rush into doing any other MSc. Wait a while to see what you really want and if a masters will help you advance better, you might then consider it.

It will be easier for you to do survival jobs while you are waiting to decide, get a bit of "Canadian experience" and transit to what you may want in the long run.

Yes documents are with NCA just like when doing your Evaluation with WES or IQAS. And my documents are already evaluated. Just left with writing the exams .
As for NCA materials, I am yet to get them. Still researching online and planning to get materials from a friend already in canada writing the exams.

Since the landing hour is already upon you I advise you take full advantage of your employment counselor. Work with at least three newcomer agencies and take full advantage of their employment counseling services. CCIS and CIWA are the names I have in my head. You can Google 'newcomer services Calgary' to get more options.

Hi,
What information about the university do you need.

1. Weigh your luggage before going to the airport so that excess luggage doesn't come as a surprise.
2. No need to pack so much foodstuff, you can buy them here in African shops.
3. Your COPR, passport and POF document should be in your hand luggage.
4. If possible, select a seat infront inside the plane. This will help you get to the immigration officers on time and avoid the long queue.
5. No pack meat, chicken, fish or milk to avoid stories that touch.
6. Remember to pack all your certificates, relevant documents and Driver's license because DHL from Naija is pretty expensive.
7. If you're a lady, buy lots of undies. 1 bra here is like 6K Naira
8. You can pack some biscuits and snacks to munch on inside the plane, some people don't really like the food served onboard
9. Book your Air bnb before you travel, to avoid being stranded.
10. And lastly, have a safe trip!

please does ONIP accept guys with WES evaluations of "Diploma (three years) and postgraduate certificate (one year)". my PGD and HND was evaluated to give that.
