So steady986 is trying to say John Wall was a top 25 player before the injury? Leeemmmaaaaaooo |
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 1:27pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
Chai....K.D don suffer?? John Wall In as much as Brodie is criticized, I will pick a Russ over John Wall...Whether injured or not..... |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:41pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
steady986: Did you see DeMarcus before his injury? Does his game not rely on his strength and weight? Does he have the same body type as Kevin Durant? I would've asked if you understood the body system and what load does to the Achilles but unfortunately you will not understand and you're clearly not willing to. KD and Cousins are same height but different weight. And all that weight is loaded on the knees and achilles. That's why the world is begging Embiid to stop acting like a fool to lose some weight and stop eating burgers before games. If you think KD is going be be like Cousins upon return, I'm here to tell you that you'll be wrong. No to sound annoying but I know what I'm saying here. Take a look at Paul George's injury.. If that happened to DeMarcus, Embiid, Shaq and people of that mass who are overweight and rely on strength to get buckets, they are as good as reserves not even bench players unlike centers like Gobert, Jokic who don't do as much with their body to be effective. The former rely on their weight, strength to do most of their work and I'm not talking catching lobs. KD and John Wall are not mates in playing style. They don't play the same way. KD would get buckets in a 3X3 feet cos that's all he needs. John Wall would need 10m . You cannot compare him before or after injury with John Wall who just had a major knee and achilles surgery. Here's one more if you'll be open minded, anything that takes away LeBron's explosiveness will only be a problem for him bullying his way to the rim but and would only reduce his buckets but he can compensate with his passing abilities. So with or without injury he's still a top 10 player and you cannot compare him to Giannis if they both have the an achilles injury. There's levels to this. LeBron post groin injury last season was still a top 5 player. The argument people will make is that he's declining due to age which could will always be nothing more than an argument no one will win. 5 Likes |

aliondo:na so we see am o. His only offense was that he made a decision as a free agent. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:56pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
Hardetayour:Your own is worse o. You're on your own on this one. Even Smoochchn and Eruditor can't support you on this one. Well I don't blame you, you just started watching NBA a few years ago. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:17pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
SmooshCHN:Lol. It's now weight, no more athleticism. You guys are just ridiculous. If I bring another similarity between them now I'm sure you'll come up with another parameter, probably skin colour or something. Well, lemme give you a reasonable comparison. Before his own achilles injury, Kobe was still a dominant force, averaging 27.3 points on 46 percent shooting that season. After the injury: Kobe played 6, 35, and 66 games in the next three seasons before retiring. He averaged 19 points on just 37 percent shooting from the field. 1 Like |

steady986:Kobe? That man was like 37 lol. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:54pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
SIRcumalot:No no all jokes aside. If you're talking chemistry issues perhaps but from a talent standpoint the Lakers have the best roster in the league by a distance. If I knew this would be the outcome of players they would land I wouldn't troll them for not getting Kawhi I repeat Boogie Cousins and Kyle Kuzma are their third best players. Boogie Cousins has the 5th highest scoring average among active players. He's still only 28. It will be a crying disgrace and a huge stain on LeNomad's legacy if this team doesn't win it all 1 Like |

A40: But there's still a big question mark on Boogie post rehab. Only the season will be able to vindicate him. |

Hardetayour: Are you trying to say he wasn't? WTF is wrong with you people? |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:55pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
donlittle25:He was 33 |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:00pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
DeeMain:He had 16 points and 8 rebounds in 25 minutes after Hus injury. If he can continue at that level that will be OK for us. He's not our primary, or even secondary scorer. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:00pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
John Wall is not the serpent but anyone who claims he wasn't a top 25 player in the league is a fvcking idiot. Demarcus cousins was arguably the best center in the league before he went down. Anyone who claims he wasn't a top 15 player in the league is also a fvcking idiot! I don't know what the people on this thread are smoking. 4 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:44pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
steady986:I'm done with you here since you know nothing about how the human body works when it comes to how much force you have to use to move your own weight and how this is related to "athleticism". You couldn't comprehend so you think I said weight and athleticism is the same thing and opted for a more stupid comparison. Imagine thinking Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant have the same playing style. Basic thinking eluded you on this one. I'm not bothered. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:46pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
RiskelWillow:talk to your boy who thinks John Wall and Kevin Durant are on the same level post achilles injury. |

SmooshCHN:I said it it's now playing style. From athleticism to body weight, and now playing style. You're running out of options. Lol The way you're making a case for KD is as if he weighs 150 pounds and floats on the air without stressing himself. As if he does no form of running whatsoever |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:15pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: What? I don't like how you lot are switching stances. Eruditor and his mate tells me the lakers suck, and you are telling me the lakers are stacked? which is it? You lot better come up with the same stance so that i can troll you uniformly when the time comes. 2 Likes |

steady986: I quite agree with your argument. Only the times will prove KD's post injury performance level. How one recovers from an Achilles injury is not arithmetic, it is subjective. I wish KD well though. May he recover fully. 1 Like |

DeeMain:If every other person is healthy even a 80% Boogie would do. Even at a 100% playing with LeNomad, Kuzma and AD would definitely have dropped his numbers anyway. This team as constituted has no excuse to not win the Championship. This team is DEEP |
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 5:45pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
the lakers are stacked, and barring any injuries, they should be able to win it all. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 5:47pm On Jul 11, 2019 |

steady986:You're definitely not a scientific person and if you are an don't understand what I wrote, it's sad cos your education failed you. A grown man like you should say he doesn't understand rather than make up words or put words in someone's mouth when you can't think and grasp simple explanations. If anyone's averaging 24ppg from an achilles injury, it's KD and I gave explanations and he's not on John Wall level when he returns. Simple. If you want to act brash and ignorant, that's your problem. 1 Like |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:06pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: I dont get it. But you lot elected eruditor as your leader and follow everything he says like sheep. Mutiny afoot? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:09pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
I think its become very clear now that eruditor has lost the plot ever since game 6 of the finals. The man is so bitter, might be clinically depressed. You hate to see it but i did warn him. |
