Does anyone have experience with firstbank mastercard? |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by hausadreturn(m): 8:43pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
Itznekky:Let's put this straight once and for all. As far as I know, there're two ways to get your funds when QA World pays you: 1. You either sell the funds to buyers, that will buy at N250 to N310 on the dollar, or use a prepaid card. 2. Till further notice, and I'm not sure, no one has proven that they've been able to withdraw funds using the MasterCard. Yes, you can link. To link is that simple. But that's not what we're interested in. We're interested in the ability for the card to link, and also withdraw. That's where the Africard comes in, which is a prepaid card (different from the usual debit card) you'll get when you go to UBA Bank and request for it. 3. With that Africard (prepaid card), you'll be able to link, and also withdraw straight to the bank, which you can withdraw at any ATM machine of your choice. And with that too, you'll be withdrawing at the normal N360.18 on the dollar. But don't forget, for any withdrawal using the prepaid, Paypal takes $5, which is about N1,800. So, the usual bet is to allow your funds to accumulate a bit, so that it'll make a little sense when withdrawing. This Africard stuff has been around, but it's more like a new discovery from one of us here, who took the risk to try it out first. Before then, we were selling our funds to verified (because of course, scammers plenty) buyers. I've sold my funds for N300, N305, N310, and even N315. When you transfer your funds to buyers, that is, let's say you transfer $50, Paypal removes $3. Infact, they always remove for any amount you want to transfer. It all depends on how low, or how high. So, that's that. Good luck. 19 Likes 1 Share |

hausadreturn:Ive Used my system to check. My rating is low. 1, 2. So I was given multiple chances to retry for a limited time (seems they started that today). I've chopped my L. I want to try another audio. Let me chop my 1.7 in peace. But will I be fired if I can't get up to 3 star rating? I'm on slack. How will it be of benefit to me? I'll appreciate your answer to my questions |

Hi Ogas in the house. I keep clicking on calls that are not automatically transcribed on QA world. How do I spot calls that would be automatically transcribed? NB: i use a mobile device. |

odizeey:You will not be fired immediately, but you'll have to get your ratings up to stay. By that, I mean, getting your jobs rated for 3, 4 or 5. That is, after like, maybe 15 jobs or so. I really don't know. Slack is like the whatsapp platform, where people ask all sort of questions pertaining to the problems they're facing. I read through everyday. That is, the HelpDesk. 1 Like |

nwafresh: hausadreturn just took pain to break it down just a few posts before your question. Guys pls let's always try to read up before asking because it could be tiring for we that are offering help too typing the same thing all over again just a few minutes after. That's why we have the resources here and not on WhatsApp. Any intending transcriber can read from the first page and be guided through the whole process as most of the questions that may arise would have been answered in previous posts 4 Likes |

ultravires:It could happen at any point. It happened to me at the point of withdrawal. Try again later, preferably the next day on a fresh Internet explorer/Microsoft edge web browser. By fresh I mean that you clear all cookies, internet history and all then restart your PC and router. Try to use a new IP on your next try |

Itznekky:Try to add the card again after clearing your browser history and cookies. If you're getting the same message, then it means that your card might be compromised |

JustSomeDude: Me, expert?! I only hope! Anyways, one of the gurus dropped one pointer that has been of great help. The time allotted to transcribe a 'normal' 5minute call is usually 1hr 30seconds, anything more than that, just ignore such jobs. I've applied this strategy and it has paid off recently! |
