I highly doubt this. To me, Genesis 1 is a summary of creation, just like what an Abstract is in a technical report. Why do I think so? If you read Chapter two clearly, you will see a repeat of the creation of man (compare Gen 1:26-27 with Gen 2:7). If you also compare the events in Gen 1, you will see that Gen 2 and 3 is just a second account(more elaboration on some key issues). So you see, your conclusion is most likely untrue because your premises are inaccurate...except of course you think that man made from soil in Gen 2 is different from the humans created before God rested in Gen 1.

If Eve was not the first woman but Lilith, why didn't Jesus or any or his Apostles ever mention Lilith? If we assume that they were abrogated from scripture then explain why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11: 12 and i quote "It is true that the first woman came from a man, but all other men have been given birth by women. Yet God is the one who created everything". Eve is the first and only woman that came out of man as supported by Genesis 2:21-23. I think the introduction of Lilith is either misinformation or delibrate apostasy.

What's your source of proof? Atleast some of the dead sea scrolls found in 1946 or so dates back to centuries and still contains the exact words found in the scriptures today.

This message was preached in 2007. If it was the reason his marriage crashed then it means it took his wife 7 years after this to come to that understanding. Anybody can see reason with that if it even makes sense. Meanwhile, at the point in time, he had been married for 15years. So no one should come and talk about experience or the lack of it.

If you are a christian, he was quoting scriptures. Anyone who does not agree with it can go on to form their own religion or teachings. That is exactly what the bible teaches.

Notice it is not about disparaging women; it is about differentiating between a woman and a wife. They are not the same. A woman's husband is her head and master. But not every man is the master of every woman. Period.

Your own quote defeats you. It simply means the original man had "male and female" contained in him. When god then saw that the original man was alone, he decided to take the female out of him to make him a help. That is what King James was saying.

But Gen 2:18 was affirmative in that he created one before the other
