Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by makano: 12:27pm On Jul 12, 2019 |
There is more to the "they are not convince you will come back after ur studies".. So I will advise you order for ur GCMS note to actually know the reasons why u were refused so u will know what you will be tackling in ur re-application.. Peace Montechristo200: |

Congratulations bro. You should get the correspondence letter on your CIC account soon. If you don't, send Nairobi visa office a mail/web form. It will be uploaded on your account ghabrhiel10: 1 Like |

Judicial review isn't as easy as u think, there is more to it.. Apart from having concrete reasons and evidences to tackle the VOs decision in a Canadian court, it is very expensive getting a Canadian lawyer to stand for you, way too expensive bro.. I had spoken with someone that did Judicial review before, even tho he has gotten his Visa now, he didn't find it funny with the whole Judicial review process.. Even after the Court Judgement favored him, the embassy was still asking him to bring one thing or the other before they could grant him his Visa.. And the reason why he was able to provide all these things was cos he had all the documents and evidences to back up his claim.. And please note this person earns 500k per month, so paying a Canadian lawyer wasn't a problem for him.. So if u think you have the money and can face the stress of Judicial review, then u can go ahead cos I cant make ur decision for you.. But I will advsie u order for ur GCMS note, know the real reasons why ur visa was refused, tackle the reasons and re-apply, and I assure you will get ur visa this time.. Peace.. Anamekele: 1 Like |

Montechristo200: In addition to what Makano said, you should review your Application and SOP and access its content from an objective standpoint. You know how much financials you declared, access that and consider options for improvement if you can. Regarding SOP there’s always room for improvement and you’ll be amazed at how much progress you’ll make between now and when the GCMS note comes if you draft a new SOP and get advise with pruning it down to make it succinct. I’ve experienced this refusal before, and it was because the SOP I thought was fire, was actually mehh. Actually my SOP was just a letter, with irrelevant supporting docs. I know for fact when the GCMS comes it’s going to have something to do with study plans, and having sufficient home ties to motivate a return home. |

Anamekele: Honestly unless your case is airtight and you have the funds in millions of Naira to spend, just take the refusal, strengthen your application, write a banging SOP, LOE and reapply. Judicial Review is expensive, time consuming and you might not even win the case. Even if you win, your application gets reviewed by another VO, you don’t know what might happen. But based on your refusal reason, you know you can improve your SOP, LOE. I’ll advise you to spend a couple weeks drafting a SOP, don’t worry about length, just consider your background and the story you’re trying to tell and answer all the main points that should be answered in a SOP. Afterwards, contact a couple people for review and prune it based on their suggestions. Once it’s two pages long just improve its readability and get appropriate supporting docs to back significant statements. You can even contact the International student service at your prospective school and they might be able to help. |

Anamekele:Kindly share your profile let's see, then you can involve an immigration lawyer if your case is good enough. Like I said earlier, some people have gone that route and they won and were issued TRV but it is expensive and very stressful |

mcobex:We can talk on the phone if possible because some people on this platform have reviewed my SOP and yet the second application was declined.. I contacted an immigration lawyer who said my documents are OK and that I have a case but like you said is very expensive and time consuming. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 2:48pm On Jul 12, 2019 |
ghabrhiel10: For online app., its normally uploaded in the gckey account which you can print out. If its not there, send a message to IRCC Lagos and Nairobi in request for it. It will be sent directly to your email - mostly common with paper app. The BVL is not the same with it. In this case, its referred to either Letter of Introduction or Correspondence Letter (of Introduction) 1 Like |
