If you would be willing to post the refusal letter and blur out your personal details... you would get additional insight into what might have happened. Sorry mybad: |

Hello guys , feeling really gutted right now, my daughter and My mother were not allowed to board a flight from Nigeria to UK last night because there was a discrepancy in the passport no of the person who is accompanying my daughter (My Mother). On reviewing the printout of the application I realised I made the mistake ,I entered an incorrect passport number for my Mum, I rushed the BHC early this morning and to my dismay they said since it was my fault they can't correct it ,I was advised to apply again. Please how can I get an early appointment ? Is it possible ?and how much does it cost? I know Priority service is 410, but what of getting an early appointment. . |

emadamysy:I usually advice and consider a salary of 200k above to be minimum anything less would put you in the range of spending thrice your monthly income. Or at least 150k disposable income, also there should be no lump sum or unexplainable funds. (eg) If you net 150k monthly and you have a closing balance of 5m I see it as red flag 1 Like |

My employer did not state. So i want to apply again. My employer gave me an introduction letter but did not state this other deposits in my account as they did not think it was necessary since other payments narration shows it emanates from them. If they explained the deposits, would that suffice ? |

Pick any date (It can be December self). Avoid premium times or else you will be forced to pay for it. Then you can work in on Monday with 42k Candybright: |

I have been a silent reader and I just want to ask this to be clear! I was previously denied UK visa with my family twice.... for unexplained credits even when I explained all. But I registered my spouse for a paid event and the visa was granted. Spouse have just returned from the UK after spending the 7 days that was stated in the visa application. My question is given that the visa expires in 4 months time, will it be any better if the family apply for a summer trip and add my spouse visa page with detailed LOE to treat the previous refusal? will adding her visa have any kind of effect? We just wanted to spend 10 days. |

Good morning, thanks to all wonderful contributors on this thread. The information here is priceless. I'm applying for a tier 2 visa for myself and my wife(dependant) and my employer is certifying maintenance for both of us. Please how true is it that only marriage certificate from Ikoyi registry is recognized by the embassy because mine was done and issued at Ibadan registry. Also, part of the documents required from my wife is proof of relationship in which I've compiled previous pictures, court wedding pics, intro pics and screenshot of chats. Please are their any other persuasive documents I may need to include. I look forward to your response. |

MamaEEE: I found out late, I did self upload last month. I printed the e statement from my mobile banking through email.. I uploaded it. *worse mistake * I believe the VO checked my e statement twice with the email reference because I am the one getting the statement again and again not them. Worst part of it is the one I upload just have my name, act no., opening balance and email reference but the one they need to check which instead I am getting is with name, act no ., address, opening balance closing balance, total credit, total debit, usable balance, and bank reference I did not go to the bank because all my trip expenses is been sponsored by my EU boyfriend now they are checking it I knew its important to them. I just hope am lucky Please prospective applicants should take note, even with 100% brit and EU sponsor your verifiable bank statement is important . I just hope I am lucky... |
