For a guy that's already 28, I think that price is too steep but they capitalized on Barca's desperation.

You guys should've just signed Ighalo and help us prove on his.positioning

Good one from you.

No hard feelings. I know all those pessimism were as a result of fear and lack of trust in the team.

Not as if we the optimists were not also afraid. We were. But rather than dwell so much on the team's weaknesses we chose to dwell more on our strength.

When I tell una say no be today AFCON start that we have seen a lot not to write any team off.

Now that you have turned a new leaf just remain positive. By God's Grace we will celebrate this title win in Grand Style.

In other News, 2019 NAIRALAND NIGERIAN FOOTBALLERS AWARDS nominations is a couple of months away. Hope we are observing? grin

I nominate John Ogu for his beautiful assist against Madagascar grin

Your second statement us right.

It started with mbappe.

A financially wise club shouldn't sign for more than 70M

The bookies are giving us no chance
They have their reasons.

¹Algeria are still yet to lose a game, beating a highly rated Senegal along the line-. they've won four out of their five games- a sensational and impressive run of form.

² they are the highest in terms of goals scored and in just five games and conceded just once after scoring nine.

³they have a very deadly, tricky and established winger in their fold ( no need to mention)

But that Super Eagles team we saw against SA is more than capable of brushing them aside.

Origi lacked game time yet he played 43 matches for Liverpool before he was loaned out to Wolfsburg?

How can you claim Origi lacked game time without putting this stats into consideration but you quickly gave us Solanke's stats to support your argument that he had game time?

If Origi played 43 matches and had 2081 minutes of game time, what game time did Solanke get with 726 minutes despite the 27 games he played?

How does Origi getting 2,081 minutes tantamount to lack of game time?

Origi had enough game time but was loaned out because Liverpool agreement with Solanke before he signed for them was that he must get game time.

Besides, Solanke was the MVP of the U20 world cup that year and still went ahead to perform in Liverpool's preseason that year.

7 goals with 1 assists for a18 years old Solanke in his first professional career is very impressive.

You can't even compare it with Sadiq Umar who had already played in Seria A for two seasons before coming to the Eredivise.

Honestly, you are bias and subjective in analyzing your point.

We thrashed Algeria complete with Mahrez, Feghouli and even a bentaleb absent from this Afcon 3-1 in Uyo with our dark green jersey. We were the home team sef but still wore dark green.

That was in 2017 na .we had the normal green jersey and it was our home jersey..

No it kills crops, unless composted. Sha, cow dung isn't all Dat useless bkus it can emit methane gas when heated, buh it is never a reliable source for the extraction of methane(cooking gas). Remember ur organic chemistry back then in SS3

He has it all but speed. Technique, tactical awareness, and the confidence. For an 18 years old, there is a lot to gain from him but I think Atletico Madrid is not the right move for his talent. The crazy prices of footballers is reducing rational moves.

So, no one noticed Iwobi's show of strength in our last match.

Was surprised to see him on few occasions shielding the ball and showing abit of brawniness in the middle. He was hardly dispossessed nor knocked off the ball as it was during the group matches...

This AFCON gave him a full dose of physical football. Another player that did surprised me is Chukweze. Can't believe he was the tiny, fragile lad I saw in Chile 2015. The way he has been muscling his way through is outstanding for a kid of 20...

I wish the team all the best in their semi final clash with the desert foxes.

I said earlier that this is how destiny happens....your opponents eliminating themselves without knowing that they are helping you...

Madagascar beat us....we evaded meeting Senegal in second round
South Africa beat Egypt....we started getting favourable time[8pm reserved for Egypt]
Now a solid Atal, and possible star midfielder Feghouli knocked off by Ivory Coast for us..

Destiny beckons

Sir goodjoe the money is damn too much

for example if victor osimhen plays for benfica and he scores like 20 league goals will be be priced for more than 20 million?

Joao felix is an average young kid, not even up to mbappe level when mbappe was 18
