No ooo. Its all for fun but I really believed that pig oo then

I don't think it was all about the pig then. It was also because of the general hype that surrounded the team. It lent credence to the pig's predictions grin cheesy

Ivory coast should have destroyed this Algerians within the first 15 minutes.
Watching the match presently.
So these quacks are what some peeps are having sleepless night over!
What a disappointment!

Calm down

We should still respect them but not fear them

I'm sure our technical crew are observing their weaknesses. They are actually quite obvious. I noticed that even Guinea could have beaten them if they had been more clinical. Algeria's defence stinks to high heavens. How they've managed to concede just one goal is a mystery to me

If Mikel didn't choose AFCON to underperform, we would've been playing a proper 4-3-3 with a midfield 3 of Mikel as Regista with Etebo and Ndidi further forward.
Etebo would wreck so much havoc if he played as a b2b mid.
We need to find a deep lying CM after AFCON.

I know its late but I don't think Mikel should've been invited in the first place

Some how we have manage to beat two north african teams with the dark green jersey
Libya 2-3 Nigeria
Nigeria 1-0 Egypt.
Prediction
Algeria 1-3 Nigeria(semifinal)
Tunisia 0-2 Nigeria (final)

Tunisia can not beat Senegal, its almost impossible.

Agreed. The attack and defense looks to be in form. We have to inspect the midfield and goalkeeper positions.

At this Stage, I expect Everyone to be optimistic. Winning the AFCON is more than lifting the Trophy, also it's gonna bring fresh Air of Peace and Unity to the Country.

We can argue the Tactics, discuss the Opponent, what needs to be done, critic fairly if having a contrary view to a particular post without name-calling.

Operation Algeria must fall.

''No suspension, no injury. We have to watch the game of Algeria tomorrow (today), for the moment they are perhaps the best team in the tournament, so it will be a very big challenge to beat Algeria.'' -- Gernot Rohr (ANS)

Chukwueze seems to be a popular guy around Micheal Opara University Umudike. I read he was a 200 level student of bio Chem but dropped out to chase the football dream. A brave call that have prooved to be for the best.

Put "very" before that word "popular".

Almost everybody in Umudike, Ndioru, Amabo et al knew him from day one because of his talent. From ibeku high school to Govicollag(FGC) and other sec schools in umuahia, I dont think there is any ex student who never saw him play during sec school competitions and inter-house sports, thats why no sane person can come out to doubt his age. We sabi the boy well well.

I have been hearing good things about him. Hopefully, he develops into becoming another APOTY winner in the future. That's my prayer.

The bus carrying Madagascar team home was welcomed with the "Champions of Africa" tag. Lollll...They knew they over-achieved by beating Nigeria and reaching the last 8. It will do well for their FIFA ranking sha..

Even amidst the chaos and euphoria of celebrations, the country looks organized. Look at the stewards and police men escorting the bus in a choreographed manner.
If it was my country, you will see stern looking mopol men and Ak47 welding soldiers pursing the on lookers with koboko and tear gas.
Anyway, I don't consider Madagascar an African country.
