I've been watching the match. We're doing some things right. We're winning the ball high up the pitch and we've had some really good 1-2 linkup but we've not been able to apply that killer touch. I think Lingard and Chong have been ok so far. Uncle Tony is doing Uncle Tony things as usual. Ashley Young nearly scored a free kick in this match. Just clipped the side netting. 1 Like 1 Share |

DeadPresidents: True that. We win the ball seconds after losing it. That’s a marked improvement. However this is an unfit Perth Glory team. Let’s see how they apply the press against fitter, more intelligent teams. Also, I see the players are trying to play in a certain way attack wise but haven’t gotten it yet. Lingard and Chong have decided to shoot a couple of moments when a simple pass to Martial would suffice. Martial himself hasn’t been sensational but there’s a little improvement from the sulker we saw towards the end of last season. 2 Likes |

Get Bruno Fernandes in that midfield with Pogba, get a solid DM preferably Ndidi, though I wouldn't mind Mctominay. To hell with Maguire, Put Tuanzebe and Bailey there or get Akanji, Look for a solid right winger, preferably Pepe and finally, end it with Lemina as back up in the middle.
