DECLARATION OF WAR

In a bid to defeat Rohr's men, the Algerian Government has ordered military planes to fly about 1,400 fans to Egypt to drum up support for the Desert foxes. The plan is for them to leave after the match with the Super Eagles but they might stay back for the Final (should the fennecs triumph in the semifinal clash).

Do you think he would start one of them against Algeria?
Don't think so but,
Iggy is definitely a starter, along with Samu, all is beginning to fall into place now so the only piece of the puzzle I think remains is how to deal with musas lack of end product...
Henry might be the answer/starter ... Osimhen to come in later for iggy during the course of the game

Infact I'm seeing us again in a 3rd straight finals but the results is inconclusive atm.....

But back-back is guaranteed..... Please rejoice already...

I sincerely hope so. They need to remain humble, put their heads down & do the work. cool

I totally trust our current players this will not get to their heads. They will score as many goals as possible and use the money to better their communities. Look at Samu and all the great things we are hearing he already does with a Villarreal salary that is peanuts compared to EPL players. Ighalo, Musa, Ekong and Balogun are known philanthropists. These are good people and I am happy for them.

This promises here and there is like a double-edged sword. It can bring about the motivation or make them complacent

If money makes them complacent then they don't deserve to win the tournament.

Gambian Referee Gassama To Officiate Algeria – Nigeria AFCON 2019 Semifinal Clash
 7 July 13, 2019 4:44 pm

Gambian referee Bakary Papa Gassama will be the man in the middle when the Super Eagles of Nigeria take on the Desert Foxes of Algeria in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semifinal fixture at the Cairo International Stadium,
Completesports.com reports..

Gassama will be assisted by Senegalese referee El Hadji Malick Samba and Seydou Tiama from Burkina Faso, while South Africa’s Victor Gomes will be the fourth official.

It will be second time the 40-year-old will officiate a game involving the Super Eagles at AFCON 2019.

Gassama was the centre-referee when the Super Eagles lost 2-0 to the Barea of Madagascar in their third Group B match.

The Super Eagles have not won any of their last three matches handled by the Gambian.

He was however in charge when the Super Eagles defeated Algeria 3-1 in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture in November 2016 at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.

Dutchman Pol van Boekel will head the VAR panel, and will be assisted by Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe who was also on the panel in the Nigeria versus South Africa game and South Africa’s Zakhele Siwela.

This looks like a setup. The players should be ready for BS tomorrow.

But July capture Naija na tongue
TheSuperNerd:
A country where none of its seven letters appear in The Word "July" will win it.

The countries are all Seven lettered. All have A letter in their name. And we are in the 7th month of July.

The team that July cannot detect will triumph. July captures L in Senegal.... Captures L in Algeria.... And captures U in Tunisia. In Nigeria, July captures nothing thus bows to the Super Eagles. grin

July does not have a number to do on Nigeria. Nigeria is invulnerable to July's attack... We cannot be captured by July.

RIDDLE SOLVED. kikikikikikiki.... grin

The last time Algeria beat Nigeria in any game at all was the Final of the 1990 AFCON on the March 16, 1990. Meaning we have dominated them for almost 3 decades now and that dominance will surely continue tomorrow.

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has been handed a triple injury boost ahead of his side's Africa Cup of Nations semifinal showdown against Algeria in Cairo, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

It is believed that Africa Cup of Nations leading marksman Odion Ighalo, vice-captain Ahmed Musa and young defender Chidozie Awaziem are available for selection as they participated in full training on Saturday.

The Super Eagles had been facing an injury crisis as the trio picked up knocks in the last game vs South Africa.

Abdullahi Shehu is still listed as doubtful as he was the only player that trained away from the group in today's workout.

The Bursaspor defender suffered a training ground injury on June 21 and has not made a single appearance for the Super Eagles at the AFCON since he was substituted just before half-time against Burundi.

Shehu was involved in an aerobic session as the rest of the players were being put through their paces by the coaching staff.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Dutch Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen and Valerenga have reached an agreement for the transfer of highly-rated Nigerian winger Chidera Ejike.

Ejike will undergo a medical at SC Heerenveen as from Monday, July 15 ahead of his unveiling.

Although a club-to-club agreement has been reached, there are still a few details to be sorted out between Heerenveen and Ejike which has to do with the length of contract.

Having said that, the Gee-Lec Football Academy product is expected to put pen to paper on at least a four-year deal.

Dubbed the Nigerian Iniesta back in his homeland, the 21-year-old trialed at Liverpool and was courted by Premier League champions Manchester City prior to his move to Valerenga in March 2017.

Regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Norwegian football, he has scored 15 goals in 69 appearances across all competitions for Valerenga.

we Nigerians like dreaming shaa.

every manager has their anointed, whether or not we like it. Onuachu will always be called upon before Osimehn and there's nothing we can do about that.

as a Barcelona fan, I had to watch a natural right back, being benched for a midfielder taking his position even without him being injured. That's when I knew, some things are meant to be. 20 players have played out of 23 players, na only pesin wey dry dream go expect that number to increase.

neither of the remaining 3 players will get one minute.
