Sorry guys I have been away. But having read 29 pages up till this point. I must clear up a misconception.

And this is a serious one. I noticed Genius43 abstained from it because the argument no make sense at all.

Brand name does not make a good phone. It's sad that many people believe that if you make a paper phone like primary kids do and place Samsung brand name on it then it's better than all other phones. This is a very wrong assumption and by now, a lot of us should be past this.

If you want to do a comparison, put brand name aside and analyse both phones individually side by side using basic parameters like SoC/CPU, camera, battery, clock speed, attachment ports, functionality, aesthetics, screen type and protection, features etc.

What may be a deal breaker for you may not be even worth considering for someone else. That's why there are accepted standards of grading phones. Your opinion is subjective and are subject to change, facts are objective and do not.

On the Huawei Y9 prime Vs RN7...

CPU: Snapdragon 660 and Kirin 710F are on par but the Adreno 512 GPU (RN7) destroys the Mali GPU on that device (Y9 prime).

Battery: Both on par at 4000mAh. This is where UI optimization and individual use comes into play.

Camera: We all know that RN7 front camera is nothing to write home about but it's rear shooters beat the Y9 prime.

For screen type, protection, aesthetics etc. Google is your friend.

This is how phone arguments should look like. Not insults and rubbish talk. Reason like enlightened people not garage touts. We're more than this please.

This is how to argue. Well done bros.

But avoid blanket statements like Xiaomi is better than Samsung. You cannot defend it. Choose your battles wisely.

Na so guy that year come say Nokia X6 better pass RN7 in terms of performance. After he proved himself wrong in terms of video evidence, he switched to price gap, even after that was shown to be wrong, e switch go the ease of availability of parts for repairs and even when our Baba proved him wrong, the matter die without him accepting correction.
I was actually waiting for him to mention Samsung flahships then i for sabi say I don enter but since he didn't..................Anyways, thanks bros

I don't know why you can't let the truth out..

Huawei y9 prime is better than rn7.. As for me..

If you don't accept, then don't.. Need not insult each other..

I don't understand why you would be so violent upon the phone you are using.. Saying one phone is better than the phone you are using does not mean anything..

Am getting Xiaomi Mi Max 3 by Tuesday.. Big screen and big battery.. That's what I want in a phone....

We all have what we want in a phone..

If phone isn't over 6.6 inches.. Without big battery.. It's a NO for me..

If you say your Rn7 is better or rn5 is better.. Than my MI Max 3.. That's OK..

We all have different views on mobile phone..

Am surprised some people are actually challenging SAMSUNG with xiaomi.. Even HUAWEI with xiaomi..

Be a truthful fanboy....

Peace

They are better than some devices from the other brands in context.

If they were terrible, Samsung wouldn't have lost their biggest market which is India to them.

Well said.....

Only thing I would add is that one should always think about the software when comparing phones.
A bad or buggy software can easily cancel out the benefits of good hardware.
That's where some OEMs shine better than others.
