I also underwent the recruitment for 2 reasons

1, To get first hand information for our interview coaching service for my side venture.

2, NNPC is a nice place to work for stability and security, but the minimum position that can be commensurate to my current earnings is Deputy Manager and NNPC requires 18 years for that - I have 11 years. As I know I'm not qualified for managerial position, I applied for the 9 year supervisor position, which I know I will get. But not likely to take the offer as the pay for that level is significantly lower than my current. I have several friends in this situation too (like the one I chatted with up here).

Well I am not hating on him. I have achievements too and my eyes are still on bigger goals (goals that scares me sef ). I have friends that have achieved things I only dreamt of in years to come, but I am on track to greatness too and I only compete with myself not anyone.

I seldom talk on this section (mostly post in the biz subforum). But I have to talk as some were intimidated by him already and were turning him to a sort of god (which they don't need too, everyone is a genius in special areas). I can bet my balls that we have more achievers on this platform following the posts and laughing it off. Some do well in business while some can only exceed in professional life...... It all boil down to personal race.

And for everyone...... For you to make it this far means you are not an inferior. You have done well and if you are not considered by nnpc? That is their lost, they just lost a gem to the street.

Don't and never feel intimidated by anyone (your self esteem should never be put into competition).

In a nut shell, windfall first before APL. I really don't know why I find it so easy to believe SAMKENYY about the 20k flat rate system. Could it be because he has ACCESS to this information as an INSIDER?

I could not join your interview sessions. I had work and location constraints. But I gained valuable info. from Jarus Hub and other resources. Its good you went through the process to have first hand knowledge of mass recruitments.

If he were American is there any proof apart from ur own limited experiences and knowledge that he'd not be responded to similarly?

1 - A faceless handle verifying claims made by another faceless handle is not a logical proof of authenticity
2 - A very public display of lavish self-promotion is generally considered as immodest (whether in Nigeria or not), if in doubt, just ask Mourinho. It didn't matter that he was mostly correct, they just hated on him cos he was never modest in describing his successes.

Sorry to disappoint you, it's going to be a flat rate. I sent a mail to the recruitment email address and I was told there's going to be flat rate reimbursement for everyone present at the interview

Flat rate doesn't mean it's going to be 20k. Let's keep our fingers crossed

But seriously, I'm amazed at the NNPC pay package, if what is being shared here is true. It is not very encouraging. Most likely, if someone like me get the job, I would still be looking out for better opportunities or just leave the country.

While the pay package is being considered by some to be ridiculous, to some it means a lot to them. Esp those who have been jobless for long or underemployed
