What You Need To Know About Abia State by Enugupikin: 8:22am On Jul 15, 2019 |
Abia state as many people do not know is actually not what they think...Abia People are one kind set of people, they love bad leaders and cherish corruption. check very well all their elected politicians including that Kalu of a senator who isn't Igbo anyway..Now Kalu isn't an Igbo name, yes I said so...they may deceive u is a name of a god but that's a blatant lie, Kalu means nothing in Igbo land. have you tried to find out why Ngwa people eat humans?? because they're not Igbo.. majority of Abia isn't Igbo and that's why you see people like senator Kalu come to talk nonsense about Ruga Abia should be ceded out of SE now! |

Enugupikin: Your brain is paining you. From Uzuakoli down Arochukwu most first born are called Kalu or kanu in the case of Arochukwu. They don't need to be given the name. Most of you know nothing about your tribe self. Orji Uzo Kalu is from Igbere. Do you know where that place is located in Abia? 8 Likes 1 Share |

Igbo as we now know it today is a recently created ethnic Identity which consist of several smaller groups who share similar languages and culture but not necessarily the same ancenstry lumped together by the colonial masters. The Igbo consciousness became pronounced and solidified by the actions of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Loius Nnbanefo, Dr Ikechukwu Ikejiani and Akunu Ibiam in the 1930s. Enugupikin: 1 Like 1 Share |

Biko, leave Yorubas out of your problems. 99% of the Yorubas don't even know all these names they are talking about. Most Yorubas use Kalu and Kanu interchangbly . tysontim: |

Bros, if they call themselves Igbo, then they are Igbos. It doesn't matter who their great-grandfathers were or the names they bear. Ethnic Identity can and do change. It is largely self identity. soulpeppersoup: 1 Like 1 Share |
