We brought in Collins right? Who said he was training alone? Rohr said all had a clean bill of health. Btw all I said was that the idea wasn't ridiculous I myself wanted Mikel brought in to calm things down.
Alright, Mikel? good idea. Shehu? I doubt there's no one here that'd be offering kind words to Rohr afterwards

In that first game there were instances when Mikel dropped deep and I think it was either Ndidi or Etebo that moved forward and yet Mikel was still misplacing passes at the back. In fact what does his position on the field have to do with the fact that he was too slow to react and too slow to pass the ball and also to slow to make any decision when the ball comes to him? Let is just agree that this wasn't his best tournament EOD, don't blame Rohr

Slowness has been part of Mikel’s game. Since time. It is the positioning and utilisation of spaces that creates the brilliance. As long as you played him in the wrong position, he can not take the blame. Just as blaming the players for the coach getting his tactics totally wrong.

You can better build a team when you qualify for a tournament.

The best time to begin building a better team is immediately. There would be rough patches along the way but the direction must be upward.

Parking bus to qualify means the team has not started growing. However, if we want to get it right, we can start a long term project. If not, we can continue swinging for luck to favour us.

If NFF is not hiring new assistants for Rohr then it’s a waste of time supporting the Eagles.

Its a waste of time for you and not others, speak for your self okay

Because dem no dey sack the coach wey you no want no mean say na waste of time okay.

Alampasu is not the solution. Simple

I will take a regular playing NPFL GK over Alampasu

How many games has he played since he went to portugal?

Someone that played just 3 games last season?

You people sef

Concerning alampasu i agree with you

Who has offered kinds words now? When you win everything you did was brilliant that's the way of the world. Remember that even when Ekong was getting benched in turkey Shehu was starting matches at DMF.

We struggled to score 14 goals immediately afterwards?
Just look right there, posting for the sake of it, ..much younger goalkeeper (why?) to understudy and get exposure
Understudy and get exposure will have stopped the Freekick ba. We're talking of GK woes and you're asking for someone to come and take notes for thesis.

This emotional rant is nauseating especially when lies and incoherence joins it

Yea, you're right about this.

A young Gk is not the solution for the immediate term

I will take a regular, performing NPFL GK (that has/had/will play in CAF champions league) over any of the guys we currently have.

Those small boys are for the youth team. GK is about experience and exposure. Understudy a more experienced GK, yes but not to take over the reins immediately

Nice one. If this turns out to be true, then I hope Rohr returns with fresher ideas and a more disciplined and tactical/technical approach

The NFF is looking to go long term with Gernot Rohr. They are planning to send him to a technical course at Bayern Munich.

Awaziem does not pass better than Shehu, not even close. I mean for goodness sake Shehu is a midfielder. Passing is already implied. Y'all just do not like the fella

Awaziem can give long pass though. Shehu is not good at all as a RB. We should try him in the DMF position.

Don't forget Awaziem was a DMF too.

I wonder why NFF is not asking questions about the continuous inclusion of these guys in our team.

How come they don't notice that none of our keepers are first choice for their crappy teams? Why would we not have a GK crisis on our hands?

Henceforth, I don't expect to see any of these GKs in the SE. For a country of over 160M people, I have a strong feeling that we have better GKs

Hehehe! As long as that goalkeeper coach is still there, we are in for a long thing. grin

Let's move forward now. We have an important game tomorrow. I haven't seen any formations from you guys. No analysis of Tunisia and their strengths and weaknesses.
Who starts in goal, who flanks Odion etc, let the talk begin abeg.

NFF should approach Bayern as well for a young promising tactical strategos to assist Rohr. Looking at where our football was 3 years ago compared to today, I will pick up today. Rohr has to be braver. Placing too much faith in some players is what has led to calls for his ouster. Westerhof First Nations cup Na silver, second bronze, third time Gold. Give Rohr some time with a young tactician, we will get there.

Ighalo Should be on the bench. But Rohr go start am cause of golden boot. Osimhen should start, Mikel, Balogun, Aina, Ezenwa, and Onyekuru should start. What do we have to lose?
