when did you place the order??

It might seem the vendor is yet approve your order to "ready to ship" Usually this should not take more than 48hrs. I hope the order isn't prepaid??

yesterday. I thought the delivery is within 4 days. if its more than that I might not be interested anymore.

It's good you did not pre-pay your order. The seller(vendor) might not even have the item in stock or he/she failed to confirm your order for reasons best known to him. For this, the seller will surely be penalized. My advice to you is to place another order since there are other sellers who sell similar items on the platform,provided it is within the price range. If the first order finally gets approved and delivered reject it upon delivery. I'm saying this from my experince.

Yes you can. You can reach out to them via email or their call center.

At times its. Not usually the vendors fault.
As jumia too also is to blame most times
I'm a Vendor too! But of recent Jumia has been delaying in shipping items!

I ordered for a chest freezer because the price was cheaper than stores. The vendor used two days to ship the order. Jumia texted me that it will be delivered by soso person. I sat and waited, didn't see anybody. I called the delivery man he was bouncing the call. Later called around past 9 at night that he will deliver it but didn't. Next day, a totally different delivery man called that he will deliver it. Buy then, i left my station for the weekend. I pleaded with him to deliver it on Monday. That Monday i was calling again he didn't pick till past one when he told me that the item was given to the first guy that was supposed to deliver it initially. I was frustrated. He gave me the phone number of their manager at sango tedo office who apologized. I just told him to cancel the order that am not interested anymore. Had to go and buy in store at more expensive rate. Jumia na scam

Once an item has been fulfilled, it takes 2-3 days for it to be delivered. However, all express orders are delivered the day after fulfilment.

I understand how U feel. However, U cannot use just one experience to write them off. I have been a customer with jumia for almost 5yrs, and i must confess, some days are good while others are not. Just like you, i could remember placing an order for a Nexus washing machine. On the supposed day of delivery, i had to seek permission @work so as to avail me the opportunity receive the item @home. The annoying part is dt d delivery guy didn't bother to call. Ok no problem, i did the calling. This guy kept me waiting till i got fed up and angrily returned to work. As i no too like nonsense I had to report the guy via call center. That was how my item was delivered right away at my doorstep even on a sunday evening. Asides this i don't have problem taking delivery of light weight objects as they are delivered very fast and without wasting saliva.

I shop and sold on Jumia too. So it's not like am a first time customer. Jumia put difficult business laws that are difficult for vendors to keep. As a vendor you ship your item, those delivery boys will still do their none sense. It's frustrating men!

thanks, from their website check outside from the app it said shipped, but when I tracked it, it said its at sorting hub. what does that means? dies this means it has not been sent yet or what. also I am seeing between Monday to Monday.

Sorting hub is where orders are sorted based on their final destination. Don't worry, u should receive ur item within d next 24hours. Your order can still be delivered tomorrow being saturday.

Wow! ... i'm sorry you had to experience this. It's been over a week now from my calculation. I believe d item u ordered is not a global product(shipped from abroad). Your item is already in transit to Enugu from what I can see.
In all, I'll plead you exercise some little patience. You can also get in touch with customer care to complain.

I got a message that the order is in Enugu. I called the guy. but he said he is doing delivery and other costumers are yet to be specific about the timing for delivery. I don't really understand if everybody need to be in order before they can make delivery. anyway I hope to get it today or tomorrow.

Hi, i came across this thread and am in need of some explanations, make i no get heart attack.

I have ordered lots of stuff on jumia express with no hiccups. 3 days ago I ordered and paid for a watch which costs less than half the price on jumia mall & ali express.

When i check my orders it says; waiting to be shipped, but if i use my order number to track it says; awaiting fulfillment. Its been just 3 days now, and delivery date is 5- 9 march.

Am i being paranoid or should i be worried?
