I wonder oo

you dont understand how this stuff works yet. tie break only affects those on the crs score. when you call 450 everyone on 451 and above must get ITA. there is nothing like backlogs. CIC does not care about that. understand tie break process before you begin all these kinds of speculation.

Congratulations!!!! Thank you for sharing

@bolded grin grin grin

Thou shalt not decide whether thou shalt get a score or not. To get or not to get is not the question.

Whence thou submit thine PPR script/story, thou get a score automatically. 'Tis an automated rule.

Thou haff score 7/10, but because thou care not greatly for thine score, 'Tis now 6.5/10

Go ye therefore and prosper in Canada.

Made a new account to post this to protect my identity from my workplace. Not sure I will login to this account, so hopefully nobody asks too much questions. However, if you ask questions I'd try to answer but may not be timely. Not doing this for the scoring but to help people get an idea of how they too can go about their submissions (particularly concerning gift deed and wife change of name)

It is must. If you're not sure you can get your passport, write the ielts body you registered with to move your exam date forward

If you're writing in Nigeria, a valid passport is required both to register and on the day of the exam.

She does not need to be a CIC staff to understand it. Spend some time over the next draws (or study previous draws carefully) understanding how it works before providing such info. We have high standards for accurate information on this thread.

Just durations of work is okay but you still have to have at least one year continuous experience. You can use your NYSC for that.

Page 1 has it already under Frequently Asked Questions. It was placed there by @joo2018 when we created this part. Unfortunately people rarely check page 1 and keep repeating the same questions, thereby cluttering the thread.

amaya21:
Everyone asking about BCS, @ifeoma77 very kindly compiled some links in Part 7. Please find them through the link below. Admins, maybe we should link BCS info to page 1? It's like it's the new jollof rice here.

Registration ends Jul 25 for the September exams. Results are out in December. Please I am not taking the exams or in any group o. Just sharing for general knowledge.

Birth certificate is all you need. It bears the name of the father and mother

Good evening everyone, please i need some clarification.

For WES verification, can we use a WAEC result that has 5 credits that does not include English. He has maths and other subjects except English. Meanwhile the GCE he did that had English was while he was in polytechnic already. His poly accepted the waec without English for his course. He wrote waec in 1998,got admitted into poly 1999,wrote gce 2000,graduated from poly 2001.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 11:23pm On Jul 16, 2019
@ bold is not correct. There is no Nigerian law that states parents and children must have the same surname. Birth certificate is all that is needed, DNA tests too maybe.

Blood group docs cannot prove paternity, they can only disprove paternity. Let's double check the answers we provide here and ensure its accuracy at all times. Guesswork is unacceptable. But if you are guessing in a grey area, please clearly say o

As regards your question, it is going to be tough to claim those kids as they don't have your surname. I believe there should be an affidavit to address that, stating the reasons why they (the kids) aren't having your surname. You can even back it up with blood group docs, medical certificates etc

Play around with CRS tool and use different simulations to see what the best outcome for you would be.

Some options are:
A 2nd degree
Masters
TEF
Max out IELTS
Work experience

Children do not have to have the same surname as any of their parents. There is no law supporting this claim. In Ghana for example, it isn't uncommon to come across a family with children who are of the same mother and father but all have different surnames, because they were named after other people.

Use IQAS if you have the money and patience for another ECA to be safe

I have never seen @ bold in any of the PPR stories since I joined this thread and I have read them all and scored half. Also, how can you claim that WES evaluated your degree as masters/professional when it did not, when you would still have to attach your WES report that shows it did not as proof of ECA, and then you plan to attach an LOE explaining WES did not, but you claimed it did?? Pardon my Latin grin What an abuse of LOE privilege. Although I would not advise it, you can try it, perhaps yours might be positively different and you would be a pacesetter if it turns out well. I am however convinced that CIC would not accept your LOE over WES evaluation. The latter has more credibility, the former is just your assumption.
Silversurfer1:

4 years Bachelor degree but the CIC website states a law degree is equivalent to a Masters/Professional degree. I don't know why WES continues to assess Law degrees this way. I've read some people picked the Masters/Professional degree option on their profile and also chose to state that's what their WES report said even when it didn't. They attached an LOE to their application. I want to do the same but I just want to find out if any Nigerian's with Law degrees have done the same.

I'm presently on crs 453, I've exhausted every other ways of getting additional points. The only options left are getting anoda cert or diploma to gain points tru two or more cert or to do French test. Now my questions are:
1) what's the price for BCS and duration from study to result.
2) what's the price for cima and duration from study to result
3) what's the price for tef or tcf?? And which of them is best and easier to do??
Thanks you

Find another family member to send the money to your POF account and write a gift deed.

Modified: You would not need a death certificate for your late dad in your application. You should only inform CIC about the death of a family member (husband or wife) and dependants (children) in which case you have to provide death certs as stated on their website

Magnifico2000:

Gift deed? Who is giving me the gift? My dad is already late? I am just a signatory to the account.

Do a one and the same person affidavit and raise a CSE asap. It is important that your first and last name stay consistent throughout your documents

padix:
Hello guys,
My AOR was April, my concern is the order of names on my passport is different from the order of names written on my Bank Letter for proof of funds. E.g name on passport is Charles Evans George. but on the Bank letter and Statement of account, it was written as Evans Charles George. (George is the last name)
I realized the mismatch after i have already submitted. will this be a problem.
Just a lil concerned.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 12:20am On Jul 17, 2019
I am not sure this is entirely true especially for inconsistency with first and last names. Evans George and George Evans can be arguably the same person but Charles George and Evans George can be argued as different individuals (if there is no legal backing). Best to do a one and same person affidavit to stay safe.

topeolu1:
This is not a mismatch. It's okay. No organisation determines name arrangement on documents and ircc perfectly understands that. So long as the docs did not specifically state that your surname is your middle name or first name, there's nothing wrong with it. Just make sure all names appear. Sometimes only 2 is even needed by some organisations and it doesn't invalidate your identity. Name arrangement is purely for administrative convenience
