Presently the Kaduna Abuja express way is been reconstructed by FG. Both express ways are been expanded from the former two lanes to four lanes each. The Road is also made up of 4 layers of Asphalt instead of the one layer of Asphalt as commonly seen in other Road projects across the Country. Each layer of Asphalt is 150mm. The Road is presently under Construction by Julius Berger and the speed of the project is mind blowing. Julius Berger are presently working on the Road both day and night. Either it's raining or not.

Below is a picture of the Kaduna- Abuja express road reconstruction that I took on my way to Benin from Kaduna, the day before yesterday. As you can see from the picture, 3 layers of 150mm thick each, is being laid. 2 more layers is expected to be laid on the same portion that I snapped. The already completed portion has 5 layers of Asphalt on it. It will suprise you to know that, this project will cover Abuja, Kaduna, Kano and Maiduguri Express way. It will also interest you to know that, the present Abuja, Kaduna, Kano and Maiduguri Express way is the best in the Country. Yet, the FG is presently reconstructing, upgrading and expanding the same Road.

Then that means you never really understood what Nnamdi Kanu was all about. Kanu was neither looking for clout nor did he want influence. What Kanu wanted was for his people to express their right of self determination and choose if they want to inside or outside Nigeria.
