Rating: 9/10

Forget the musical stuff.
The charm is in the chemistry between Bradley cooper and Lady gaga.

Watching her tribute to her late husband had me weeping for Marveltards like Mjbolt, Hulk616, Vic2ree and Afobear.

These folks will live a lifetime without knowing how seeing a good movie feels like except the formulaic factory type churned out travesties Marvel feeds them.

It's a pity.

Let me weep in silence for them.

Crying isn't something one considers when balancing the universe , But watching DC retards cry continuously after their Dead comics and failed doom predictions for Marvel does put a smile on my face

Hello house, which data plan provider would you recommend?

Heard Spectranet and Swift are good but I'm not sure of coverage - location is Lagos.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs-

This is a very unique movie. While some parts are more engaging than the others, it is overall a very entertaining movie, especially The Ballad. A very well spoken, honest and polite killing machine. grin The Impresario gave me the chills, though. I somehow sensed his intent from the very outset. You could see it lurking in those earnest, mean eyes.

Deja vu-

I watched this movie a long time ago and did not realise it until i was watching it again some days back.

Very engaging, suspense filled and filled all manner of impossibilities.

Meal Ticket is very unapologetically bleak. The theme is morally grey, and borders on nihilism.

It's easy to call the impresario evil, but put yourself in his shoes for a moment. What if you are barely getting by, and you suddenly find yourself with 3 mouths to feed in a very harsh winter. One of your ward is no longer earning his worth, and you just bought another ward. Are you going to keep the ward that is no longer earning his keep, or make it easier on yourself and your new ward and get rid of the excess baggage lest he drags y'all to poverty? He simply made an economical decision. It gets even bleaker when you consider the fact that he killed a human being for the sake of a chicken, but that's not all, it gets worse... he killed his meal ticket for nothing - The chicken act won't work at all, for he bought a normal chicken, not the secret for making the chicken choose the right number. Bottom line, he was scammed. It's a brutal tale that explores the emptiness of the economic choices life can force us to make, often at the expense of our humanity. It's my favorite chapter.

My second favorite is All Gold Canyons. I rooted for the old man from the moment he struck gold, to the moment he shot that cowardly thief in the face, survived from getting shot in the back, and successfully mined his gold. The contradicting "How high can a bird count anyways" quip from the old man, as opposed to the "counting chicken" from Meal Ticket wasn't lost on me either grin

My third favorite is The Gal Who Got Rattled. I didn't see that end coming at all. It's like an episode of Black Mirror.

However, the one that made me ponder a bit was the last chapter. I don't know if the trapper, the lady and the Frenchman were dead, and the Englishman and Irishman, reapers. Still musing about it. Thoughts?

They never tried that with me. 1.1mb/s speed on the average

I never download during the day.

Infact, I only renew whenever I get their text message for DOUBLE YOUR DATA promo.

Right now I have about 120GB of data accumulated over time.

Right. Captain Marvel at the top of her game, and on top of all her feminist abilities, Thanos still overpowered her relatively easily... a fit Thor will suffer much worse. grin
