This is why I always advise people that want to improve their vocabulary to read good fiction and not to borrow words from an online Thesaurus. This is because Word A might seem to have a similar meaning to Word B, but would be terribly out of place in a context where Word B would be appropriate. It's always better to learn a word in context.

l see a lot of people on this thread borrowing words from thesauruses and using them inappropriately. Threebear does it a lot. But I always ignore so as not to seem like an oversabi. But I can't ignore this because it concerns Tacha.

Referring to Tacha as an Avant-garde is a massive disrespect to that word and to all the notable people through out history and all the great historical works of magnificent value that have been classified under that term.

Please read up on the proper meaning of Avant-garde and use it appropriately next time.
