You are aware that a large number of celebrities, recently downloaded FaceApp to predict what you’ll look like in old age, you may be unsettled to learn what you agreed to in the app’s terms and conditions.

After the app went viral this week, some noticed the legal document is worryingly vague. It gives the app permission to use your likeness, name and username, for any purpose, without your consent, forever, even if you delete it.

"If you use #FaceApp you are giving them a license to use your photos, your name, your username, and your likeness for any purpose including commercial purposes (like on a billboard or internet ad) -- read their Terms before your download it on your phone.

This is the second time FaceApp has gone viral. Its first brush with fame, back in 2017, was boosted by outrage over filters that changed your ethnicity.

I got all a whole lot of time ...I ensure I read the review of any apps I wanna download, and I also check out the terms and conditions.
To quote a man who told me long time ago that "If you wanna sell Nigeria just put everything in black and white _why ? Because the black man don't read"
And I totally agree with him... We usually do things before asking question....

Russian are smart. Nigerians have a wholly different story..
Instead for us to innovate, we are busy copying.
Go to foreign social media spaces and you'll see people testing and scanning the algorithm of that app for loopholes and quirks plus security problems.

What if I told you that gbwhatsapp, yowhatsapp and any other Whatsapp clone has your "private" chats stored in their data base? Those private chats and media you send aren't private at all. That's why Whatsapp (original) is trying to shut them down.
But the average Nigerian is myopic. Ask him why he likes GB Whatsapp and he'll say
"It lets me store status updates" or ",it lets me change my font"
Nigerians need to change. An average Nigerian does not read the terms and conditions before installing an app. He's always looking for that "Accept" button

The west... Very hypocritical bunch of fvckers. So because the app originates from Russia, they just had to rubbish it by calling attention to its T & C. Why not come up with a better app than those guys. Must you guys always compete unfairly. That was how The US was throwing childish tantrums everywhere because Huawei was leading in 5G development.

You guys do not have monopoly of knowledge. Everything must not originate from your end. The rest of the world also have smart folks.

I have seen worse T& C from American and European made Apps. If you doubt me, read the terms and conditions on the next app you install from Google play store

I knew this long ago, but many people don't really care. Russian army of internet hackers are out in full force to meddle in the next American elections using the data they can get from this App.
They are not really targeting third world countries like Nigeria, but mostly America and other European countries so they can steal their data.
I laugh sometimes when I log on to facebook and see people answering random question and answer from unknown sources on facebook, is things like that that makes you lose your account and other sensitive information to hackers.....
One has to be careful in this day and age.
