This is so true...He has topped Ndidi as the most important player in GWG. However, I want the brother to move to a better league where he can contest with the best and improve his final touches. Etebor is a diamond in the dirt!

Even if na norwich or aston villa, being in the epl is not far from now for etebo

I started disliking Iwobi after he made a smelly gesture to a fellow African player....Very ffoollish boy. If it was white that did it all hell will let loose. But thats by the way. I am more interested in what he brings to the table which is a big gigantic NOTHING. To make things worse whenever he loses the ball he raises his hands like Ighalo and mouth like Kelechi. Its very infuriating.

The only keeper I have in mind is Dele Alampasu and that is because when I saw him in Uyo he was so hard to beat and then you remember he is 6'4.

Uyo of 2015 or 2016

That dude has barely played for his club

He has regressed. Please, let's stop holding on to past glory

anyway the coming days and weeks will tell

and sir thegoodjoe, what had PINNICK don that you are screeming EFCC should pick him up?

It was someone's comment I just posted because I found it hilarious. It was about Rohr going for a refresher course when we should be employing a coach with sound tactical acumen to deliver quality results.

No harm intended.

Because he isn't playing regularly at his club doesn't mean he has regressed.

Our goalkeeping situation needs urgent attention and inviting a bench warmer like Alampasu at this time doesn't sound bad at all...

Etebo can fit into Mikel's role but not as a 10 though. (Pirlo kinda player), He should go and learn how to take FKs and good precise passes.

BascoVanVeli:

Etebo is the best footballer on the team. Proved it at the world cup and also at the AFCON.

forgiveness:
Rohr said Etebor or Semi will step into Mikel shoes. Hehehe! We are on a long thing. grin

The leagues already came out. We are in league A.

https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2018/12/261411/caf-african-league-nations/

They are yet to release the fixtures however.

Bro. what u are seeing online is a proposed nations league..CAF haven't mad a final decision on it yet! If they did, then everybody would know...
between now and 2022 African team will be participating in 2021 AFCON qualifier. 2022 world cup qualifier, 2021 AFCON 2022 world cup. 2020&2022 CHAN
.. There's no way the nation league will fit in..

Like I said earlier, an Africa nation league won't work as long as the AFCON is held biennially...

Etebor passes are not atrocious. He will get better and comfortable because he was already a ball player since his days at Warri Wolves with Sunday Mba, Jude Aneke and Egwuekwe. Him and Sunday Mba were WW star players with Etebor playing 10 and left midfield and Sunday Mba SS.

Isn't this double standards?

Haven't we accused Akpeyi and Ezenwa of bench warming and citing it as one of the reasons they don't merit the invitations?

Alampasu doesn't merit any invitation if his situation doesn't improve

Yes he's a good player, just that he doesn't release balls on time, hence the reason I want him to go and learn the art of passing the ball.

Alampasu doesn't merit any invitation if his situation doesn't improve

Akpeyi was a starter at Chippa united when he was being shaky in goal for the super eagles... Even when he joined Kaizer chiefs, he started a few games until his poor performance came into play..no be today people no want Akpeyi for post..
As for Ezenwa, why did he keep getting call ups even when he dropped to third choice goalkeeper at Enyimba? If he wasn't good enough to start for Enyimba but he kept getting call ups to the SE..that was the issue...

Oga,we have serious issue with our goalkeeping department ..If u don't want goalies like Almpasu to be invited then I guess u are contended with having Uzoho, Ezenwa and Akpeyi again for the next 2 years...

English mangers are overrated jare... even in the EPL,they are outnumbered by their foreign counterparts . when I mean English managers, I'm not including the Welsh,Irish and Sottish mangers o.. just the ones from England..

The championship is only better cus it has more money and is more competitively.. But it's just the Spanish second division I'll rate higher than it..
