Please I need help on behalf of a friend. She is scheduled to leave for Canada in few days. Her uncle in America purchased an Egyptair ticket for her through an agent using his credit card. I just saw online that egyptair requires that the owner of the card travels with you in person. Am confused. Does it apply to people who bought theirs through an agent? Kindly help. Thanks. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Austacus: 7:17am On Jul 20, 2019 |
Ibitowaoa: You can't do that (if it is your application)! Your application is in the final stage. You will get automatic refusal because you've been called for medical..., that's if you haven't done it. But if you have done your medical, it would hasten up the final decision. you can withdraw your application by Using the webform and tell them the reasons behind this. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp You can as well send a <EMAIL> to CIC to request for withdrawing your application. In your case, no kobo would be refunded cause they have started working on your application. 1 Like |

Yes, I have been called for medical but I have not done it. Does it mean if I withdraw I will be automatically refused? Austacus: |

Gamma007:PATIENCE! That's all you need now, your app is going very well and approval is almost certain as long as you didn't use any doctored document to apply. CIC have approved your app already but trying to run a second background check on you(to verify your SOA and other documents submitted), so if you didn't use any doctored document start making your traveling plans. Congratulations in advance |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 7:38am On Jul 20, 2019 |
Nice one @ gatsbym4. As regards the table, you could bold all on row 1. Try positioning the mouse on the column separator (line) in between column header L and M then double tap (this should move it to the end of the sentence) or drag as the case may be. This should let every word fit into cell "L1" completely then you could cut "final status" in "N1" and place in "M1". The above can also be applied to cells in row "1" so that cell title ends in 1 and applicants begin in "2". Thanks. Good morning. 1 Like |

Ibitowaoa: And if this is the actual reason you want to withdraw your application, you need SERIOUS flogging. I mean SERIOUS FLOGGING! IRCC is aware that we only have two accredited medical centres for medical examination and they are also aware of the influx of people in these two centres. So now, send <EMAIL> To lagos and Nairobi and address this issue. Tell them your medical has been booked for (date) and you won't be able to meet up with the 30 days whatsoever. They will extend your date. Goodluck 9 Likes |

passionate2019:From the look of things they are financially stable, so that's covered. Will your uncle follow his wife and children or he will stay back? If he stays back it will be much easier to convince the vo, because they can use him as home-tie. If he intend to go with them, do s he have any investment back home that he can hold on to as home-tie? Because the vo might think the entire family just want to run away from Nigeria for greener pasture and using study as a means. NB: They actually have a good profile, that's if they play their cards right 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 7:47am On Jul 20, 2019 |
Ibitowaoa:Another option to what @Austacus said would be for you to walk to any of the hospital very early (be at the gate even before they open up for the day) and plead with them to run a medical checkup on you that the date given to you by CIC has almost expired. I have seen cases where people without booking did their medical , they are human and should understand your situation. 4 Likes |

Thank you!! The reason I want to withdraw is based on the fact that I have been offered a ptdf scholarship for PhD in Germany. And I may no longer go to Canada again. Also, I have withdrawn my tuition paid to school as part of the refund policy. So that’s the reason I have been thinking of withdrawing my application but I don’t want it stained like resulting in automatic refusal. Austacus: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by AkeemTy(m): 10:19am On Jul 20, 2019 |
Bro just send them a mail informing them that you can't pursue the application any further as a result of issues you need to sort back in your home country, perhaps someone closely to you is terminally ill and you would like to be there for the person before he or she dies and as a result you plan to reapply when the time is convenient for you emotionally and all and you have withdrawn your admission at the school too because of what happened. Perhaps this might help. Ibitowaoa: 1 Like |
