At the end of COB on Friday, no further alert yet!

After various deliberations on the "access" theory, I could deduce the following;

1. Two "brothers" did at the same time, same day, probably wrote on same sheet of paper, only one got alert.

2. People who have "strong" connect are yet to get alert, as reported by different sauces.

3. Those who contacted their NNPC sauce said alerts are in batches. Even if it's not, they are not expected to make you know as it is not official yet.

4. Someone said it's not possible for them to enter all 9000 details within the shortest time. I could remember at the point of exit, the lady with a system asked for our interview number then called out our names before asking us to put down our bank details.

Invariably, the only thing they'll have to input is the account numbers and bank against our respective details. And it could have been done on daily basis from the first day of the interview.

5. Transport fare for 2011/2012 was as high as 40k. After 7years, same company reimbursed candidates with highest amount being 20k. Cost-cutting.

6. Mail has been sent to staff acknowledging the end of the process.

Don't come for my head, please. I'm only testing my analytical skills.
Not the same paper though grin grin grin

Lol.
Where do people get these info from?

Don't let anxiety get the better of you.

That's not a reasonable statement and it is very false.

Xfire
Perhaps a first hand information from an individual with a GT experience at NNPC can help doze off some of the tension here.

Please, if you are izon kindly gather here for a selfie o. We need to inform IYC urgently that we are present before they scuttle merit list and go and use community list. I can't fit to shout.

IYC accusing NNPC even before the interview is conducted. Are they saying NNPC had ghost candidate that they already shortlisted?

So the most plausible theory is what I will call the COCO’s theory. Like I said earlier on, it is still a spinoff of the Access Bank theory. One thing we must know, or have experienced, is that the NNPC recruitment staff is a very organised team. Some people receiving alerts, and others not receiving, is not a random occurrence. The Coco’s theory can be explained in the following way.

1. From the simple survey above, it is clear that only applicants of a particular date(s) have not received alerts. The NNPC recruitment team is not that disorganised to pay July 3rd or July 6th applicants, leaving out July 2nd applicants who did their interviews first. (Someone else please conduct the survey for July 1st applicants to see if they have, or have not, gotten alerts).
2. The CBT performance was used for the order in which the interviews were conducted. It is logical to say that the best performers from all geopolitical zones were invited for oral interviews first, before others. As such, those who performed best in the CBT were invited in the first two days—July 1st and July 2nd.
3. Priority slots were given to those interviewed on the 1st and 2nd of July. Those who did interviews later than these dates are simply ‘fillers’. In other words, if there was still some slots left after the first two days of interviews, that is, if some applicants in the first two days were screened out due to some reasons like very poor interview performances or certificate discrepancies, people from subsequent days were used to fill in the spaces.
4. On the issue of alerts, everyone will get alerts definitely. But one thing we have learned from the recruitment process is that NNPC team is highly organized—the team even went as far as calling some people on phone to confirm their account details before sending their transport fare. There is a reason the team is withholding the money for July 2nd, and possibly July 1st applicants. The reason is that it is from these people that most appointment letters will be given to. So, these people will still probably travel to Abuja for medicals and other exercises. So their money will come to them in due time, in the later stages of the recruitment.
5. This is not part of the theory per se, but to console those who have gotten alerts. It is not the end of the world. You can still make it in life. grin You better start accepting the reality of things right now so that when the appointment letters start coming out, your hopes would not be up, and the reality would have already sunk in before then.

For us, the applicants who haven’t gotten alert yet, let us bounce in style. grin

Hi dear,
The allocation of interview dates is based on course of study and what they call Unit of Operations.
A particular type of unit was not interviewed until the last day. Everybody on that list did not need to answer what business unit they like. Thank you. Enjoy

On other subtle matters, there is no correlation between APL and T-fare. You can as well say those who have been paid T-fare are given money to help ease their coming to Abuja for the next stage. So focus the mind on something more productive for now.

That's all. Another 2 weeks of wait. Bye

Nepotism will eventually finish this country. It's funny how some people expects roadside mechanics and fishermen to be shortlisted for the NNPC jobs interview.
If not for the quota system that is still in play in place of purely merit based selection, some states and LGA will have zero candidates still in contention by now.

Let me conduct the poll for July 1st applicants.
If you were interviewed on July 1st and you got an alert or you know someone interviewed on July 1st and they got alert, please click ‘like’, but if you were interviewed on July 1st and haven’t gotten an alert, click ‘share’.

I am 4th July and yet to receive alert. I've not seen anything 4th here.

For every 10 person's commenting on this thread, 7 are from Lagos while the remaining 3 are distributed across the states.

So it is safe to say that all the theories formulated here are based on what happened or is happening to candidates from Lagos.

Majority of the applicants are also not on Nairaland, we don't know what happened whether or not they received their TFare or not.

As for me, I don't take anything seriously in this group.

I wait
I pray
I hope

Saturday, a lot wont go to work today, expect a lot more baseless theories and engagements. Most reasonable theory for me is those who didn't make the proposed recommendation slot have been paid, only comma is I haven't seen anybody that wrote on the 11th that has been paid, if you also believe those in Lagos were mostly paid first what of the other Lagos guys? Aren't they worthy?. For the cbt and July 1 and 2 theory for best candidate babe/guy over funny dey worry you

U guys should begin to reason like professionals.. again and again ..TF has nothing to do with APL...

I have been paid since Wednesday..6 July batch..guess what I can still log in to my profile and see my details there...what does it tell you? We are still in the race..

Severally it's been made clear that NNPC applies a quota system for the merit list..as even seen in their recent appointment of COOs/ head of the seven divisions..they are a lot of Hausa people in NNPC..this is as a result of the quota system..

If you tried your best at the interview...Pray you make it from your state.. (Delta, Lagos, Ogun, Imo) take note..high competition states

After APL .. orientation training shall start..after successful completion people shall get posted to different subsidiaries..

As for Tfare..there may b an embargo on it for now..or probably the lists have not been fully updated...

July 6th was a very efficient day in the process.and had a lot of sure and capable candidates especially EH..all of them can't b out just cos of alert..

The process is fast and it's good so let's discuss things much more important..

How many EH do you think they called for interview?
How many EH do you think was scheduled on July 6?
How many EH do you think was scheduled on the remaining days?

All these they've not paid applicants scheduled on a particular day, or particular state, or discipline doesn't follow. This is how some people were thinking during CBT shortlisting and Interview invite.

Nothing is certain at the moment, so we should all need to chill though

FCC rules applies to your state of origin..the essence is to ensure the equitable capture of all Nigerians into government organisations ( diversity)..

With all due respect to other states..there are alot of book worms from Delta, Lagos, Ogun, Imo..it's a gift and a curse...so competition is high cos many people Sabi book..there for the bars and standards will be high for those states compared to states like ebonyi or zamfara...if your familiar with government in Nigeria u will no this..

What are you talking about, all the people that sat down for d CBT are the best of the best in this country, after that, the best from them where invited for interview, so Irrespective of FCC or quota system. NNPC will be hiring the best brains from every state.

FYI alot of people have being paid from different dates, less than 5% of those people are on nairaland, Everybody will get tfare eventually, so people should calm down please, dis tfare joke was blown out of proportion already. Cause I see alot of people are down because of it
