Edit: I'm not sure it's their policy, the girl was prolly on a bad mood that day. I was there some days prior to when i got the money to purchase the phones, i requested that they should open one for me so i could check the heft and all, they did. I can't phantom what went wrong that day. She just wasn't ready to show me the phone as i wear corper khaki.

True though but i was ready to buy that day and i did buy, but, from another store that was willing to show me the phone before i make payment

It is, I bought a phone from their Abuja branch two weeks ago, a RN7 infact. I paid before they unsealed the phone and switched it on for me to test.

Yeah, Saturday is finally here we can get this rolling. I don't intend to have an unhealthy debate with anybody, particularly genius cos he has been of immense help on this thread, this is just to put some things straight.

For those who don't know, this argument started when somebody on here said he'll like to buy the k20 but his budget is limited to only 100k. I recommended the mi 9 SE as an alternative noting the difference between the two is negligible.

Genius took exception to the word "negligible" and said the phones are 2 worlds Apart and before u know it, k20 fan boys jumped on me.

In the camera thread, he even called the SE a failure and a moniker supported him on this thread.

Now, I'm going to stir the honets nest by going all out to prove the the SE is even a better device (claim I didn't make before)

Let me first put the mi 9 SE side by side even the superior k20 pro and see how it holds

Does it show 'charging fast' on ur screen with d RN7 pro cord ?
Pls show me screenshot

Yes it's showing but that charging fast of a thing is theme dependent sha as it doesn't show on my present theme but because of ur curiosity and being too inquisitive grin, I changed to default theme and one other theme which both showed. But I think the surest way to know if it's fast charging is to check out for the quick charge sign close to the battery icon on the drop down menu. Hope am correct with my assertion.

It's their policy though. You can only test if there is a sample switched on. Experiences tune sellers decision. I was in a phone store and someone bargained for a phone and agreed on a price. After breaking the seal and opening the box, the person said he is no longer buying. If you were the seller will you break a seal next time before payment?
Those guys get sample of Redmi note 7 and Redmi 7, dem nr gree sample Mi 9T grin.

There u have it. Apart from 'only' the chipset and the battery ( we'll come to that shortly) what is the difference between both devices. I mean in other key areas like display, OS, connection, protection, NFC, Security, sensors, camera and even design? Yet the k20 pro costs more than 100usd more.

Mr genius tried the other time to prove that the camera in the k20 pro is superior, but this is a lie, the camera specs are the same,
. The SE uses the same main camera as the mi 9

Try it on note 7 just like I and atheistNproud already confirmed it sir!

That is note 7 on the video bro.

This video is different from the one I sent to you.

The video I sent to you was tried on max 2.

This one you watched here was done on Redmi note 7 with redmi note 7 usb cable that came with the same note 7 that was used for the test.

Hahahaha.

$100 more expensive? Which universe are you from? GSMARENA pricing are not accurate but estimated. My prices are based on what was stated at launch, what is your pricing based on?

The Mi 9 SE was released in February, the K20 was released in May and at the time of their respective releases the both base configurations cost the same. Now judging based on components which is more expensive?

Put into consideration what is present and absent in each of the devices.

Bros, I'm talking about the k20 pro, I want to compare the mi 9 SE to the more superior k20 pro to see how it holds, then we'll move to our debate proper.

It's even interesting that you cannot even readily see the difference between the k20 and k20 pro from the specs I posted. That says something.

Besides, what you posted up there are just recommended retail price from the manufacturer, in reality the prices were different

Even if we speak of the K20 pro at the time of release the price difference was still not up to $100

Who uses retailers prices to judge prices when comparing price points at the time of release?

Having the same camera sensors like you said for the K20PRO and Mi 9SE doesn't equate similar photo outputs.
