Thanks to all that have been contributing on these thread, I have been a quiet reader on this thread and what I read about Xiaomi make me to take a decision to buy one. I got the redmi k2 256gb Chinese rom this week directly from china and it has been a different experience even though there are some chinese apps i tried to do away with but that proves stubborn.
My major challenge is with my whatsapp after following some of the online instructions to install google play. I have downloaded the whatsapp but anytime i try to login and click OK. it keeps bringing same information or the information disappear leaving me to start again. I tried it also for whatsapp business and the same don't know what to do next.

K20pro of course even k20/mi9t is still better than mi9se even if the margin is not much

I posted the comparison earlier, not much to separate the 2 except you care so much about sd855 and a bigger battery.

In every other department they are equally matched , exactly and the k20 pro is 40k more expensive

Then why did he list it as a strong point for the k20
That shouldn't be a point for either of you

Oya continue

Please this is a mi 9t Vs mi 9se... No apple or Samsung dragging into it.

Ain't noticeable?
U for say 660AIE on RN7 and 675 on RN7 pro ain't also noticeable!
See if na this 2 department of battery and optimization....no go there!
That is flawless win against the Mi9SE!
Another argument pls!

All I asked for is a task the 730 can handle but the 712 will struggle with .

In the end you're still comparing the 7** series

But your ally listed it as a point in favour of the K20

What makes the S10 family better than the S9 family?

What makes the iPhone X and above better than the iPhone 8 and below?

Is it just the technical specs alone like the processors, sound quality, screen etc?

Is the latest trendy design not part of the reason people upgrade?

And when I mean people, I am referring to the Majority and not the few tech-heads that will hold on to a 2nd generation Pixel and claim it is a better overall device than Mi9Tpro.

Uh everything you said boils down to preference.
If mi 9t and mi 9se are similar, whatever makes me go for any makes that choice better than the forfeited irrespective of if it's battery or size or camera.
That's why they have little differences.
Personally I'll go for the mi 9t because of battery, the camera is close, that radio is a plus for me because there are some places I go to that there's not a single cell tower close by but there's local radio frequency, how man wan take hear news. FM radio is very popular in Abuja especially that ordinary president programme.

I agree with u, in the end it boils down to personal preferences like u said, I will choose a smaller phone with a decent battery over a bigger phone. I so much detest big phones .

As for the radio part , but my headset and Bluetooth speaker HV radios, so if I should ever find my self in that situation I'll still be good

I think you're turning this argument in circles...
Ok if I should ask what the sd855 can do that the sd675 can't ?

Why do people buy newer models of cars , tvs, refrigerator etc.?
It's for that improvement over the previous model though matter how little it is.

What's the much difference between iPhone X and iPhone 8? Since you've been calling apple in all your argument

Bros I'm not attacking you oh, I just want you to understand that though matter how little the improvement might be , it's a personal choice to decide if you really need that little extra or not.

If Changes in design was not such a big deal, Most of the OEMs would have stuck with the old 16:9 design with large bezels.
Even Samsung at one point had to bulge and move towards the trendy design .

So leave me out of the Design is always subjective talk.

How many of you here will buy any latest Flagship with Samsung S6 kinda bezel in 2019? undecided

C'est finis!

I just said I once sold a galaxy note 4 when the screen got broken and got a c7pro with inferior chipset and all I did on the note, i was still doing on the c7pro effortlessly which meant I could have been under utilizing the note 4

My brother, design will always continue to change and that will not always mean you'll throw away the last one.

But then, the mi 9 SE is still better in design

Like I said design is subjective. But if we look at the design of the Mi 9/Mi 9 SE, it is not so much different from the Mi 8 family. We are going to see a better radical design from the Mi 10.

The K20 family/Mi 9T has a more original design (even though they incorporated a little of the Pocophone camera placement design) and a lot of tech reviewers have praised it for that.

All these I stated are personal. I won't judge you if you feel even the Redmi Note 5 has a better design, it is your choice.

With all due respect this statement here is a lie. How the heck does the Mi9SE have better design than Mi9T?

What f**king confirmation?

A device with a dew-drop notch is better design wise than one with a fully immersive unobstructed full screen display? undecided

With this your analogy, your Mi9SE has a better design than the OnePlus 7pro. Yeye dey smell undecided

That's just it, some need that flagship device because it reduces delay encountered on lower models. Some people's phones are their office, while some use theirs for just calls and text

Just because your need doesn't warrant those extra features a Flagship has doesn't mean the midrange you are settling for is a better or a match with any flagship device.

The Mi9T is an overall better device than Mi9SE when every available factor has been considered.

At the bolded, tell that to all OEMs doing away with the bezels with every release.

Even the likes of Tecno and family are not left behind.

I didn't say flagship aren't worth it. What I'm saying is in essence is that due to some people's operations they might not see the difference between the flagship and midrange, and also the usefulness of some features
