He said so much, but ended up saying nothing. The post is filled with so much emotions than logic. First, you raised an alarm that there are armed gunmen in front of your house. Some of us were wise enough to know they can't be gunmen. Now, they were armed policemen with shabby looks. Were you expecting the police to visit you without arms?

That said, if you were forced to sign documents: why not call on your lawyer to be present before that? The police already know you to be a celebrity, so I don't expect a fowl play. Stop the media trial 'cause it's obvious this post is to tarnish the man's already tarnished image.

I have similar thought as yours. I'm somehow curious about the new development.

Have you or any of your family members ever been threatened by the police or a powerful individual before? If your answer is “no” then your logic is flawed.

Moments ago, Timi Dakolo raised alarm that strange men with guns were at his house.

He has now shared an update saying they are police officers sent to deliver a letter of 'invitation for questioning' to him and his wife, Busola over the rape allegations she levelled against COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Timi talks too much and he is making his case bad. Accusing Police of bribery is a wrong move even if the obvious is true. Crying wolf is not a good move, not in this country. Those you think would support will start taking a back flip one after the other in the face of Police intimidation.

I am sure Fatoyinbo has a case to answer. Timi should make his move wisely and quietly too. He won't see you coming. Social media and foolishness

When some of us were counseling Timi to use the legal system first, he feel say he smart.

They said they prefer court of public opinion. Okay. Nigerians will abandon you. Female and progressive politicians would use you to score political points. End of the day, they'll let Biodun deal with you however he sees fit.

I don't know what Timi was expecting? In a country where the church/mosque and state is heavily intertwined; you were expecting to take on Biodun without repercussion.

Gird your loins! Na now your trials and tribulation start. Next time, you'd use proper channels!

It's a simple invitation. Kindly go to Force HQ and explain why you preferred to make an unsubstantiated allegation against a public figure instead of using the court first. A million Twitter posts will not defer the request.

Don't start what you cannot finish.
It is better to jaw jaw than to war war.

Busola and Timi dakolo has started the war and in the war front there are different methods of fighting.
The legal advisers of both parties will be laughing now.
The dirtier , the better for the lawyers.

what is dangerous about getting invited by the police?

Sending a truck load of well armed policemen to invite a woman who claimed she was raped is just so very wrong. It says to the woman that the police is working for the accused, otherwise a couple of officers could have stopped by her house to deliver the letter in a none threatening way

You said "Nigerians are awake". Hmmmm cool
You are looking for public sympathy. If you are sure of yourself, why not go to Abuja?

My questions:
1) I thought you should even be happy that the IGP is the one directly handling your case and not one of his boys in Lagos? Don't forget the IGP can give directive from Abuja o?

2) Why not go to Abuja for your interview with your lawyers and be interviewed by the police. Or you only prefer social media interviews?

3) Timi, you and your wife accused a man of a grievous offence of rape, why shouting intimidation even before any formal interview?

4) Timi, did you expect the Police HQ not to take this matter very seriously after the 'national' noise you created?

I repeat, Timi is shameless and a coward! cool

Jah bless u.
Dakolo is just seeking for sympathy.
His wife accused someone of doing something 20yrs ago, now they have to back their claims or face the law for character assassination...
It's evident all he has is the media...

Your statement is the senseless of all I've read. Has the pastor been tried and convicted a rapist? Should I support a woman who raised a rape alert just because I am a woman too? I guess No. Moreover, his wife is the dumbest woman I have seen if her story is true 'cause there are lot of unanswered questions.

Abeg, Shift!

So you first reported that "armed men were lurking around your house before? Later you now realized they are police officers trying to deliver a letter to you. This is how you have been spreading false rumours with you and your wife, they want to deliver a court letter to you and you now turn it to a war notification letter, and in a way that will demand you fighting for your family with your life... Guy go chill down.
Why should police come with arms to deliver a letter to a civilian.

Dakolos are just seeking social media pity and sympathy. He(Timi)really needs his i-never-belle-full-social media artistes and artists validation before he can do anything. If hes a big guy that he acts, he should fight this battle out of social media and let the win advertise itself to the social media. Hes enmeshed already...

He hasn't gained exactly what he actually wanted before he started this fight so the fight must cont..
