g00dy:Yes it means it has been approved but still not giving yet though. And that is base on the recent trend that after passport request they still carry out other checks. But you should be good to go if your documents are authentic. 1 Like |

Vesment: There is a reason why bro...Their TRV application is different to ours (Nigerians). Indians open a canadian bank account (most likely Scotia bank) and must deposit 10,000 dollars for maintenance before they begin their visa processing. Once they deposit this amount, the bank gives them a receipt to show they have deposited the amount and they attach this receipt when applying for visa. When they get to Canada, the bank gives them 2000cad first payment and 650cad every other month till the money is exhausted. It is like the German style of block account for Nigerian students. So CIC does not really bother with SOA for Indians provided they have made the deposit to a Canadian bank account and can show proof they have paid for first semester fees. It makes their application very fast. For we Nigerians, CIC has to verify SOA, monitor the transactions and begin to ask who is sponsoring this student and why... 2 Likes |

Hi guys. I really need your help. I am 38, married with two kids.i am a preschool teacher graduate 10 years ago with a bsc in mass communication, but began developing myself mid last year,i started with a6months full time certificate course in child care and presently Running an advanced diploma in Early childhood education. I am very interested in having a deeper knowledge in early childhood education and because my background course wasn't In Education, I can't go for a master's. Will it be advisable to take on early childhood education as a second degree ,or just go for a two year diploma in early childhood education.i have researched school and most of them require a b.ed for a master's in education which I don't have.how do I convince the vo about the 10 year gap? I am being sponsored by my sister. Thanks for anticipated response. |

Mickyade: dealing with personal asset and Financial status refusals; you can take hints from this 1. TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE: When last did you pay company tax. You write about how passionate you are about your country in your sop but can't provide a tax certificate. This single most important document proves to a vo you have a company that is well ingrained in Nigeria. 2. TIN registration: It is important to get a tax identification number and scan the letter confirming your TIN number in your application. 3. Car ownership certificate: yes scan the certificate showing you ownership of your vehicle. Most especially if you have a nice ride. This shows a VO that you are doing ok in Nigeria. 4. Work assets & Machineries: Perhaps you purchased an asset from china a few years back for your company and still have the receipt you can scan snd present it in a coherent way. You don't want to confuse a vo because the next thing is some generic refusal hence order gcms note. 5. Proof of past/future contracts: Have you executed some contracts in the past (1-5yrs) you can include this. If you also have some contracts coming up you can include proof. 6. Reference letters: You can have certified and verified companies you've worked with in the past write you reference letters to show your prudence. 7. Regulatory bodies Certificates : Every industry in Nigeria is regulated by a designated party. It is important to be certified by these bodies. Presenting proof of this certification will strengthen your application. For example, I submitted my father's Petroleum storage licences from NNPC. There are over 25 categories of documents that can be used. However it is one thing to have documents another thing to present it in a wat that it reflects your portfolio and application stance. I have seen applicants with over 20million portfolio ruin their applications simply because they were misguided. P.s: personal assets and finance refusals are very tricky you need to ensure correlation with the past financial portfolio and when you're adding new documents make sure you state the reason why it wasn't in the previous application in your LOE. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Seyitorl2: If you can sort out your personal asset and finance portfolio then you have a chance. 38 married with two kids and being sponsored doesn't speak well to a VO. So be careful how you build that up. Lastly, anything similar to Social work, teaching etc is a goldmine here you'll easily get jobs from $17-$25 per hour if you have the right certification. Cheers |

[quote author=Naijaforeigner post=80462781] There is a reason why bro...Their TRV application is different to ours (Nigerians). In addition to what you have said, There are few countries in a special agreement with Canada for the GIC program and India is one of them. This program gives them the opportunity to process their application in just two weeks. ( Check CIC website). In fact, they are advised to apply with their family members at the same time. Do you also know that 90% of the funds Indian applicants send to Canadian banks are simply loans given to them by their government which they have to pay back after school. The Canadian government is aware of that and everything is working for the indians with respect to their migration plans. You and I dey hussle the money. Some hussle money on paper while some hussle real money in the bank (let's do better) . I encourage everyone to pay attention to the info being shared here, try as much as possible to submit an air-tight application. Leave the rest to God. The people wey even get the two weeks opportunity lazy pass anything (Na who don work with them go fit testify). In the end, a higher number of my people perform better than they do. I pray for more sweet news this week. AMEN. 7 Likes |

sterlingwaterlo: Ok. I made mistake during my application. But now I know my mistakes and I won't repeat such this time. Besides I applied to only one school in Canada because I felt my qualifications would give me instant admission but now I know better. apply as many as possible and mail several potential supervisors, write outstanding statement of intent, repackage your CV, pray as if you are submitting pass result and prepare as if you are not going to pray about it. Those are the lesson I have learnt so far during the application process. how's your Visa application now? 2 Likes |

Ibitowaoa: Be wise bro, you are in a stage where everyone is praying for (medical request). I know money is involved in Canada but I bet you, after your studies in Germany, you will be hoping for an English speaking country again. This is Europe where many people still want to leave for English countries. All the best in your decision. 4 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Ibitowaoa: 6:24am On Jul 21, 2019 |
Yes I prayed!!!!! Now I need your advice; Conditions 1. I have withdrawn my deposited tuition fees paid to the University 2. My background is still under review ( not yet mark) 3. What if after going for the medical the realize I have withdrawn my deposited money is that not a lie on document submitted. 4. If I go for this medical and then request for passport would you advice I drop my passport with the current situation of things that passport release takes time. I really want to have the visa of Canada at hand even if it means not going, as it boost my chances of going next. Advice me if you are in my shoe what decision will you take knowing that Germany is on its way. Plus Germany is for a PhD while Canada is second masters as I wrote and explained in my LOE. I humbly awaits your reply. Thank you. Ggetter50: |
