Blesso222: you need to read about this process boss... this thread has wealth of information that you can DIY with no agent help. you will answer this question well enough if you just read the first section of page 1.... i mean no offense but its going to help you. cos answering this question(which is one of the least thing about this journey) is something i don't know how to start. as a guide...read about Express entry and also PNP. you will understand better which really applies to you and how you can better position yourself for either. but you can send a PM. 1 Like |

Hello house, i have a very few questions... i have been a silent follower of this thread. I am currently on F1 visa in the US for my Masters Degree. My questions is 1. Is it possible for me to apply for EE from US on F1 visa? 2. I have all the requirements, such as work experience, POF etc except IELTS... now my question is: a must to have the 8777 score? If you have anything less than the score, does that mean you don't qualify for EE? 3. Reference Letter from my previous work: I have been working in my dad's coy for more than 5years before i travelled. Can that count as work experience for me... Just curious as i have made research that one can't use a self employed as work experience.... pls i need someone to clarify this to me. Thanks you all as i await your input. Cheers!!! 1 Like |

I wrote IELTS, my first attempt on the 6th of July and I passed. LRSW 997.57 I practiced with ieltsonlinetests.com for the reading and listening section, I think I did like three practice tests a week for 2 months; then i subscribed to E2 IELTS on youtube and watched all Jay and Alex's video on reading and listening as well as writing and speaking. I only practiced writing and speaking for one week using Alex and Jay's video. I registered with British Council online and was given access to the Road to IELTS page, I only did the free practice tests and watched the tutorials on the page. I just stuck to the BC materials, and did not want to use too many sources and clearly it worked for me. My CRS is currently at 453. I am tempted to go for a remark for my writing as I feel I can get up to 7.5, this will boost my CRS to 456. However, my document evaluation with PEBC is ongoing and might take up to 8 weeks by which time the CRS cut-off might have decreased for me to get ITA at 453. Really thankful I passed at first attempt, would have broken my heart if I had to dash British Council £170 again. 63 Likes 11 Shares |

Few questions house. 1. One of my previous place of work where I work for 5 years has folded up. Please how do I go about getting point for this experience? 2. Will IRCC still send mail to employers to verify work experience despite sending a stamped reference letter and payslip issued by the employer? 3. What is best way to go for POF, TB or gift deed? If TB, does it mean I have to wait for 3 or 6 months that it'll mature before I can submit ITA? Thanks. 1 Like |

Brokenvessels:Congratulations on passing the exams. It seems you have a good command of English before writing the test thus making it easier to ace it once. What of those that don't really have high command of English, what do you advice? |

Brokenvessels: Congratulations! However, I am willing to bet you didn't write your IELTS in Nigeria. If you had written it here, you would have had 997.56 just so they can get another £170 from you. Correct me if I'm wrong and you actually wrote it in Nigeria. 4 Likes |

I am asking on behalf of my brother. He applied for a US F1 visa and his bank statement was collected for verification and his visa was approved but a day after his interview he checked his visa status online and it was refused. Got his passport a week after with a paper stating he was ban permanently for misrepresentation even though the account was genuine but the amount stated on the bank statement does not match with the original account balance..All his life he has never been convicted of any crime. He’s well educated with a masters degree and works professionally. He wants to start canada express entry. Do you think the ban in USA will affect him? Thanks as i await a response. |

There is no point as MSC gives you more points than two or more degrees. Dollarpee49: |

Please check page 1 or search the thread. All your questions have been answered several times on here. 1. Your degree doesn't have to match your job. Canada doesn't care. 2. You get max points for 3 years of work experience. If you worked at a certain position for 3 years use that. If not, combine experiences/NOCs. 3. You just need to have worked in one of the NOCs for a continuous year. 4. Your employer would have to state that you were paid in cash on your letter. 5. How much you earn doesn't matter. You can earn ₦1.99 every 6 years for all they care. 6. Your job description determines your NOC. Post your JD here for whatever experience you've decided to go with and someone would guide you better. Remicynt: 4 Likes 2 Shares |

There is nothing like good command o. It's all about continuous practise everyday. Even if it is 30 mins. Just keep practising. The resources he used are sufficient. You can also use cambridge materials. Just Google cambridge listening on youtube and on Google to get the entire sections. Anyone can pass, the difference is the work put in and prayer done but we have to work for GOD to see something to bless. Shalom Magnifico2000: 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello @daks02, Would you be kind enough to share a sample of the letter of authority your husband wrote with me? Yet to dive but our entire POF is in his MMF account. My email address is kemtybemty@gmail.com Thank you. -POF: Submitted Fixed deposit certificate (40% of POF) in my name (just invested the money two days before submission), money came from hubby so he wrote a letter of authority blah blah, then the remaining 60% was in hubby investment account that he had running since February 2018. The deposits matured while waiting, we rolled over but we didn't update it. |

CoCoLav:What are u driving at exactly. Lots of people have written the test in Nigeria and passed at one sitting. We really should stop seeing the exam as a demon that should be defeated in order to go into the exam hall with a clear mindset 4 Likes |

Congrats Daks..this journey is for the determined mind..please I sent you a mail request..I'll like to ask you some questions..Please find time to reply me abeg.....Thanks -LOE was just one page, gave reason why I couldn't get ref letter in CIC format, tabulated our POF, added the number of days i had stayed in the US it wasn't up to six months but because it shows very frequently in my travel history didn't want the VO to guess (it had happened to someone i know) and request for FBI PCC. Only got points for hubby's IELTS, didn't need to do ECA for him so there was no placeholder for his education, had to attach his TRF to LOE. POST AOR; I really thought this our application timeline was going to be very short, meds passed was a day after AOR, BIL was the following day. I was already happy, 3weeks after AOR, rprf request came, was so excited, then one month passed, and another. By the time we clocked 6months, I called, raised CSEs, ordered GCMS notes, mailed MPs they didn’t do anything! when we clocked 7months, I just resigned to God to take over. I'm writing all this story cos someone will use it to encourage themselves, it was stories like this I used to keep hustling, so to all ITA, PPR hopefuls, God is on the throne, we shall all laugh last! PS shout out to @newmum0615 for her help with my ref letter wahala and my Sept/Oct aor whatsapp group you guys are amazing, You made the journey seem shorter, we helped each other get through, THANK YOU!
