A right step but too narrow for such a commecial city biko but i'm more concerned with the dilapidated structures by the road sides.
Poverty na bastard.

Nice one for refuting and debunking the claims of naysayers and those that would love to see Abia state on its kneels but from the pictures it can be seen that Ikpeazu (and our Nigerian govt) still have a lot of job to do when it comes to finishing of projects.

First, who still constructs roads with open ditch in this century? why are the roads claded with sediments, silts and dust?
These are the little things that make a place have an endearing ambience.

If we want to do things let's take our hearts and do it wholely so that when we are commended we will proud to respond.

I know MCC road in Aba

it's opposite umojima road and the road leads to first bank at the other junction.

The road was far busier than this back then.

I can also recall that the governor tried to tar it back in 2016 because the road was complete eyesore before then.

Hence, infrasture was largely poor in Aba back then

Although this was in 2016, things might have changed now.

Lolz, this Op must be slow, really! Is this what u bring to counter the shame I saw yesternyt, I almost vomited when seeing those pics. What pain me is that, people are still selling, moving and working in the sewage and refuse dump I saw yesterday. The funny thing is; these are the same People that call other dirty, while they live and swim inside sewage.

They will have the opportunity to travel to city like lagos, Ibadan, kano etc tomorrow and them be forming don, come to nairaland to abuse, ridicule their host and complain about flood and bad road, something their kerosene giving governor can't give them in their mud enclave.

Make this country just divide, abeg! All these fugitives, ingrates need to leave our land.

These are roads that normal local government councilor should construct with ease.. The government of Abia state led by Gov.Okezie Ikpeazu should please sit up!!! Okezie should embark on a week trip to Ebonyi state( Abakaliki) to go and learn work about road construction. Umahi will host him properly!
I really don't know why Abia has been so unfortunate with governance.
There is nothing beautiful about these pictures up there

Beautiful. However, I hope they aren't the typical camouflage projects of Nigerian politicians.

When my school OAU hosted the NUGA games, they did mass renovation. Two months after the program all the renovation deteriorated.

When the former king of Ife died, the road at Mayfair was renovated because they were welcoming guests. Two months after, the roads returned to their previous states.

Our governments should please stop doing cosmetic projects.

And you reading this, if you're a government contractor, please don't compromise quality for bribe.

Congratulations to the people of Abia.

All of you that booked space, I'll report you to seun.

Poverty and bad leadership has made Nigerians call something ugly to be beautiful.

What's beautiful in constructing roads without gutter...good drainage systems? What happens when there is a heavy rainfall?

If most of the public funds didn't end up in private pockets, Nigeria wouldn't be the hell hole it presently is.
