Does it mean vulture meat as sold in Nigeria market as chicken meat or ?
Am confused here o, life don't have duplicate.
I can stop eating anything chicken that I didn't kill by myself.
When the hunters get the vulture after it has died with the help of their concoction, what else do they do with it?
Am beginning to detaste frozen chicken because of this.
The Last one I ate rearranged my system that was when I gave up on frozen chicken.

lazeez99 post=80501526]The police in Enugu has dismissed claims that some dead vultures shown in a viral video were killed from eating poisoned cow meat meant for sales.

Rather, it said the vultures were killed by bird hunters in the Enugu community market.

Igbere TV reports that there was pandemonium today in the state as a video in circulation showed many dead vultures at Eke market in Ihe community, Awgu Local Government Area of the state suspected to have consumed remnants of cow meat sold to local consumers in the area.

Reacting, however, the Enugu Police Spokesman, Ebere Amarizu, said the death of the vultures was as a result of poisonous mixtures with leftover meats which was deliberately concocted by poachers to capture the vultures.

The reaction was contained in a statement sent to Igbere TV on Sunday, by the Enugu Police command.

Senseless lies. Since when did they start hunting vultures in Igboland? If they kill vultures with poison and video it for publicity, how would they be able to sell it thereafter?

The police has become so stupid to become the spokesmen of fulani herdsmen

The truth is that the truth outlives lies. Some know the true state of things that happened and let’s not point fingers yet.

However, how come the cow didn’t die before it was slaughtered if it was poisoned or the butchers discovering it?

God bless Nigeria and give her peace.

Hian, why would the poachers want to capture the vultures? Are they trying to domestic the vultures or what? And if so, why would they poison the meat knowing it won't sedate the vultures but rather kill them. Abeg, I am no believe the report by NPF biko... angry

It's always interesting how quickly Nigerian police can conduct there "investigation" come out with answers when it suits them, but are unable to arrest a single herdsmen that are killing folks all over the country..

So where are the poachers? Who is poaching dirty vultures in Enugu? Where is the evidence? What poison did the birds eat? Any toxicology test to ascertain there claims...

Useless country..
Re: Video Of Dead Vultures In Enugu - Police React by Nobody: 8:37am On Jul 22, 2019
nobody eats vultures, theres no reason for hunters to kill them.

Years back, i was an infantry man in the Congolese Army.

While on a reconnaissance mission, we got ambushed.

It was an unfair contest, we were outnumbered and outgunned 10 to 1. undecided

Out of nowhere, a small ball came from the sky and i heard "GRENADE" shocked shocked

Seconds before i heard a deafening explosion, felt excruciating pain and DARKNESS.....

I heard grown men screaming, i smelt the coppery scent of fresh blood, my body aching all over and DARKNESS as i fell unconscious again.

I was woken up by the buzzing of millions of flies and a sharp searing pain on my left leg.....

I looked down and i saw i was covered from knee down with.......

VULTURES!!!! shocked shocked shocked

I was being eaten alive! shocked

They were as startled as i was and they flew off with my blood dripping

from their beaks, strands of meat on their ugly necks.

They flew off just far enough from my reach..... watching me with beady evil eyes.

The scent of the blood pouring from my leg was irresistible and they moved closer and closer....

I shouted, they flew off, they moved closer and i shouted. We repeated this cycle till they realized my shouts were impotent and

They became BOLDER, striding forward confident, I was LUNCH and they wouldn't be denied

This people have succeeded in damaging this country.

I have watched that video and I can tell you nairalanders, that it was poisoned cow meat.

Fulani herdsmen or whoever they are, poisoned that cow meat and those vultures ate them and died. Scattered all over the market.

This country is truly doomed with buhari as president.
