Thanks Sir for your opinion. But I'll have you know that in the southwest, rigging in actually extremely difficult. Take for example the osun elections; the APC utilised the power of the federal government to organise the reelection in their favor with bribes and intimidation. Something similar in Ekiti. But in states where the clear majority vote against them, such as in Oyo, there is absolutely no way they can rig. The thing is yorubas are generally cautious of pdp who were ruthless to us when they were in power, breeding thugs and giving them guns to terrorise us same as Fulani herdsmen are doing today, yet they were still voted out despite their federal might. Now, any PDP candidate can only be elected based on their personal merit and when the APC candidate exceedingly forks himself up. Concerning the Awolowo/Akintola days, they both perished on the alter of their selfish ambitions, Awolowo was Akintola's godfather but after losing in the race for prime minister, wanted to return to being western region premier; just as if Jonathan should want to return to being bayelsa governor after losing to Buhari in the federal! That couldn't work, hence the crisis.
