Hello, plz has there been any news from south Africa embassy Lagos. I submitted my Visa application(visitor visa) on June 10 and it's been 6 weeks now. Someone on here once raised it that we should try and hashtag the embassy on Twitter, and I think it's a good suggestion, they cant keep accepting Visa applications and Visa fees at the same time seize our passports that's so wrong.

I applied for a study visa since March at the VFS Lagos, till now I'm yet to get a the visa from the embassy. This is very sad. The most annoying part is, if I don't resume on time, my scholarship will be withdrawn. My resumption date ought to be 1st of July. I really pissed and I intend on storming that embassy soon!
Any other suggestions?

Have you gotten your visa?

Hello guys i need your help i submitted at the Abuja zone since Lagos is full on the 8th of july and up till now i am yet to get a responce back on when to come pick my passport and i have been wondering does it mean that i did not get the visa and this is not my first time.please what should i do or who do i contact to find out Thank you.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Viquetohr: 4:10pm On Jul 24, 2019
What Visa type did you apply for? You applied on the 8th July, well that's not quite long from now. We have people in this forum who applied in Abuja and are still on a waiting after 5 months. I also applied for a study visa since May 16, and I am still waiting. But in answer to your question, delay isn't denial. If you submitted verifiable and credible documents, all I'd advise is to keep your hope positive.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Teefab: 1:54pm On Jul 26, 2019
Hello everyone
....Applied On the 11th of July at the Lagos VFS for a visitors visa for my 3 months old daughter and myself.Got a mail and message that it's ready for pick up yesterday 25th (10working days I total) Been to SA thrice.Got the visa but my baby wasn't given.
Reason .....that my husband's data page wasn't notorized
......
And that her birth certificate lacks credibility (She was born in a private hospital, but we obtained the government birth certificate when processing her passport, I submitted that and certified it as well)

This is what was written below the reasons given.......
You may within 10 working days frm receipt of the notification make written representation to the south African Consulate General Lagos via VFS,visa Application center Lagos

Pls house as per it's an authorized directives from the consulate itself, I wanna asked if i will still need to book an appointment

And secondly, thinking of including all pictures from my Preggo day to delievery day till date.

Please advice ooo and can someone submit all this on my behalf as I Don't reside in Lagos.

Will greatly appreciate your response. Thanks
