Last two weeks, the Court of Appeal Abuja ordered the release of Elzazaky after holding that his detenion was illegal and awarding him #5 million in damages for his illegal detention by the Nigerian Government. Buhari's government has refused to obey that order. There have been countless court orders including that of ECOWAS Court of Justice in Abuja for his release. What did they do, they hurriedly took him to Kaduna where they had judges loyal to the government detain him to evade complying with Court orders.
It is becoming increasing risky to live in Abuja. Shooting and teargassing have become a daily occurrence in the heart of Abuja that use to be the most peaceful place to live and work in Nigeria. Buhari is a President who does not understand the art of leadership. That some times a leader has to make some painful sacrifice for the greater good of all. Some Shitte members will turn to terrorist and Abuja will be deserted.
