People seem not to understand the size of this project. The biggest breweries in the whole of Africa was built for around 300million dolls.. This dangote Project costs about 10billion dolars, so scale up and see how massive the project is.. They are sure going to be needing so many many people on ground

Funny enough we didn't exceed that number during our time..The project is big but everyone can not be sent at same time.

Don't forget that the project is about to start and so they need as much people as they can get right now...in your time the project was yet to kick start

I really can't say. It depends on the management and some other factors.

The numbers selected is usually far more than that and splits into Refinery and fertilizers( both trainings are done outside). Usually a few may be selected to join any awaiting batch and the others arranged for subsequent arrangements.

If it was then when psychometric sometimes comes before interview this would have been true. Although your interview performance plays the deciding role in the process.

But still for the executive/Engineer trainee, you get a mail after a successful interview for a psychometric test before medicals. They may be few exceptions but am yet to see one.

Tbh, dangote group HR are not very professional. There should be feedback (positive or negative) on one's progress so one can easily move on to other things instead of waiting endlessly

Why am I so scared, nervous and tense about my interview tomorrow... ?

Actually, after your psychometry you will need enough patience to move to the next stage which is medical... Even after medical, you will still need to exercise a lot of patience to get the Visa mail for oversea training. A lot of people are on ground who are awaiting traveling for oversea training and the most important thing is that, this recruitment is unpredictable. You may be called for medical after waiting for 1 year or 1 month. It depends on HR....... so i wish everyone success and the spirit of patience.
