I was in your shoes because I drive through that road only in the night.

The day I was passing there during the day, the road side sellers were shouting "one way, go back".

I was surprised and turned back to see the "no road" sign just at the right if you are about to take the one way, or by the left immediately you take the right lane.

I guess the touts are only there during the day

Most car lot offer same service, your client should pick the one nearest to her residence.

So sorry bro, there is a one way sign just before u enter

Crazy country we r living, maybe deh just put that, I have been using that road to cut to fola agoro from unilag more then a year now, nothing of such ever happen... To make the matter worst, its the job of lasma/RRS to apprehend for such offence and not council boys, they are not even permitted to enter into your car, if one park at a wrong place, the worst they can do is to take ur plate number, but every tom & dick will b quick to jump into d car and start expecting you to beg while deh turn deaf ear... Low life's, dat neva make good of anything in dia prime. What really pissed me, no uniform, no identification, he just jumped out where no where, if d road is clear enough, I would have let him in and take him far to a place where we can both treat our case.

Who advised you to go the way of sakamanje?? That person is just misleading you...you get caught and you are banned forever on one or even both platforms then you are stuck. This work is simply all about being very smart but also prayerful as well as with any business.if you don't put God first you might just be running in vain.so do that first and then play by the rules.speak directly to the right Elders who will never advise saka. let me share some tips for you anyway.

First off people always ask this question of where to position yes most times those work out well but then again there is always the trip you get from the least place you are expecting and yet those trips end up being fruitful.so sometimes it not always about where to position there is always a balance.

I don't know where you stay but in the mornings always target residential areas for people who are going to work now understand that people going to work are aware there is traffic so they plan their trip with that in mind.you cannot for example be looking for a trip to island and be at magodo or Ogudu by 7 or 8am the workers have since left you may now find shop owners etc but you have missed the rush of office n bank workers who will leave between 5 and 6am.

In the evenings Target the major work areas for people who are closing and wanting to go home so you cannot be at Oke Afa or Ogudu or magodo at 5/6pm and expect trips to be falling left right centre (not that you cannot get like I said above) but you are better off being where there will be rush of people looking for rides home.for example Monday- Saturday marina and atimes V.i you will always see surge building from like 5pm till 7pm on Uber I don't do bolt at all so I cannot speak for them so if you are close there just blow away and your ride is sure but you will see one by drivers saying they cannot blow empty from Yaba to marina then they wait hours for trip whereas someone has blown empty and has done 2/3 trips already..

Target Major hotels for between 11am and 12pm because their guests will be checking out at that time .

You have to know trending places that will always have expected high requests at certain times.e.g target major churches that have mid week service because when they are closing your ride request is sure and I guess same goes to major mosques on Friday after prayers too..
Target major events at Eko hotel of course like Falz experience that held recently I cashed out major cos I had a surge trip to ikoyi of 2.8 when the show ended dropped the rider blew back another surge trip within V.I blew back again and a final surge trip of 1.8 to surulere and I closed for the night.

On weeknites certain offices are surge to give you trip now am talking of between 8 and 9pm when the early workers have gone home...In V.i target KPMG during those hours but other drivers are there with you or basically target any bank head office cos the Head office workers most times close late same with those that have head office at Marina..

Friday and the rest of the weekend you really should not have issues with getting rides but same things apply Saturdays target major event centres as people are leaving after their parties same on Sundays and also as churches are closing but really weekend should be easy breezy for you.

Another thing is have observed sometimes don't be scared of doing short trips you will observe the more you are active the more requests come to you. This i have observed a lot whereas when you are waiting you seem to wait forever but once you start moving most times it is back to back from there not all the time but especially like weekends it always happens.

Lastly the airport.now here you already have a counter so you know whether or not it is worth it.for me once am not in the first 10 queue for airport I can never go there to wait and that is also in addition to using flight tracking apps so you know when flights are landing so you are not waiting endlessly for nothing.

Last again cos I just remembered lolz...law enforcement and new laws police lastma taskforce and robbers...AVOID some places at night e.g mile 2 Ago, Eko bridge costain and anywhere you can get stuck in traffic and get robbed.dont park anyhow during the day target fast food joints or approved parking cos anyhow parking na LG taskforce go wan catch you they know 9 out of 10 parked corolla with driver inside n.a. ehail so it's their latest pet project for making money so be kiaful for parking.
I think I said enough..i really hope your HP is sensible like you stated and not too high and wish you the best.i don't need to tell you to save you should know already otherwise experience would tell you.you can also monitor your expenses as again your income to see and know if you are maybe overspending e.g your fuel purchase should return 2.5× to 3× on the average otherwise you are not on track.
Take Kia.. .

Thanks boss these was really helpful

You can not memorize them all. Just watch out for direction parked cars are facing before you fully enter any unfamiliar road, look out for road signs too

OK. Boss. But then, its a fluid situation out there sometimes, you lose your guard, if there are areas you know. Please, post the ones you know. @ least having a foreknowledge of wat to expect minimises the chances of being extorted.

Yaba
Lagos Island
Victoria Island

These ones have enough one-ways

Others are Somolu, some parts of Ilupeju, Oshodi, Ikoyi and I think Ikeja

But as for Yaba and Lagos island, be very very careful. VI can be better. People around will just advise you, and you hardly see council jumping up and down there

Better still, if you aren't sure if somewhere is one-way, looked at how the cars are parked, or simply ASK THE PEOPLE AROUND

He won 1mil late last year (pfp)and the thing is still shacking him. So please don't pay him much attention. Dude is just clowning around. Who no sabi alfo. He's a super clown. You can check his posts.

Senseless response, did I say it was wrong? Can you provide the service? He's looking for a vehicle that will be suitable to take a bride on her wedding day? How many of the vehicles here can do that? Obviously not a corolla or Hyundai or civic. I only gave him an alternative.

Please advice him to do a thorough feasibility report before he venture into Agriculture. It's a viable and long term investment, no doubt but the gestation period can drive you nuts if its your only source.
I invested #180k on 1 and half acres of plantain (1600 suckers in my hometown at ijebu last July) and i have barely made half of my investment. ROI never enter at all and by mid August or so ,the plantain glut season would begin .
If he's thinking of crop farming : pepper farming on a medium scale planted on a swamp land close to a river is a cash cow, if he's able to harvest between April -1st week in July, anything aside these period, OYO is his case.
Plantain farming is a very good investment too if the harvest comes in from March to August. A dozen of plantain was sold for 15k in a local market at ijebu -ode two weeks ago. As profitable as it is, it can also drive you nuts just like i said earlier especially when it's your only source of income or loosing some plantain stands to wind. It happens all the time, a major pain, plantain farmers go through every year.
2M is a lot of money in this current dispensation.

My understanding, maybe wrong... Google map will only show u direction of arrow u are supposed to take and mostly I don't drive with google map (except in some cases), I took dis route without watching out for any sign because its regular, but fate is sometin I have no control over. Just be very careful and watchful of sign post of do not enter when about making a turn, just that most riders are not understandable, like my first rider dis morning was shade of a wrong rider, she took 20 mins to hop in and kept tasking me to move faster inside chevron to osapa traffic, I was just doing formula one, yet she was cool & hot at the same time, chatting me up about life, the new list and yet move move while I was just entering every open lane.

One turn I hope drivers will take note of is d opebi round about, usually d norms used to b turning without using d round abt, but dose touts r on d lose in dat area now, dia is another one ard dat ogundana road, the dopemu time frame is worthy to be note as well.
