This is better than sauce

Nothing to celebrate not a really good move.

How much a club pays for you is a reflection of the importance they have placed on you. He may highly likely end up in the U23's. He would have been better off going to a lower league club that really need you and will therefore play you.

I hope he proves me wrong and gets into the first team but it looks very unlikely, in my opinion not a good move, for career enhancement.

I remember when Uche Ikpeazu was the highest goal scorer in the U18 league in England, left Reading signed for Watford never played a single game for them after three years. Liverpool the highly marketed Jerome Sinclair who had the record of being the youngest player to play for Liverpool at 16. Considering Liverpool payed WBA £1 million for him at 14, thy sold him to Watford for near £5 million good pay for the club and player but zero career progression. Where is Jerome Sinclair now , struggling to get a game for Sunderland with non league staring at him in the face, he has chosen the relative ease of the Eredivise.

not tryna take anything away from Gueye..but sometimes good agent comes into play here more than talent

I can assure you that is 100% CORRECT in general.

Apart from Chris Houghton, Darren Brown and maybe Klopp i can not vouch for any other manager.

For example Alex Ferguson son is agent, so are the brothers of Guardiola, David Moyes, etc, etc

The guy is seriously overrated, he's just a low class Ndidi with a slightly better passing ability

go and check his stats and you will find you are completely off the mark with your emotive view.

Coupled with the fact that he's Senegalese.

The Francophone players always have it good playing for teams in France. It is easy for an Average Francophone player to get good clubs in France than an above average Anglophone west African player.

Through a statement on their official website, Premier League side Watford have announced the signing of Nigeria U20 star Tom Dele-Bashiru.

The central midfielder has joined the Hornets on a six-year deal following the expiration of his contract with Manchester City.

Born in Manchester, Dele-Bashiru is the second Nigerian player to be snapped up by Watford ahead of the new season after winger Joseph Hungbo, who was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

Aged 19, he spent fourteen years as a player of Manchester City and made one appearance for the first team against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final in the 2017-18 season.

Tom Dele-Bashiru was the poster boy of the Flying Eagles squad at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup and scored in his maiden appearance for the African giants in a 4-0 rout of Qatar during the tournament in Poland.

His sibling Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also trained with the Flying Eagles in Germany ahead of the World Cup but was not selected in the final squad.

You know common sense should teach everyone that there is always a number of different versions of the same story depending on who you speak too.

First question do you know Victor Moses ❓ So how on earth can you come to such conclusion about a person you don't know have probably never met in your life.

Just on HEARSAY don't you think that's a bit hasty and I'll advised.

Maybe because in my experience the media image of some players and who they are in most cases are MILES APART.

Moses isn't coming back. And we don't need him... EOD!

If Cameroun could bring back Kameni, even though dey have top quality young keepers in Ondoa and Onana, then...

I wonder how Cameron manages to produce top goalies. From nkana to antoine bell, kameni and now onana. Wetin dem dey do?

Good news for him bit for how long will we depend on people like Enyeama. While I welcome his inclusion into our team, the scouting efforts for good, backup GKs shouldn't stop

Hey! hey!! So that on the eve of the 2022 WC we will discover Enyeama has lost form and we start experimenting goalies again.

Eyeama's era is and gone for good.

We need to start building for 2022 WC with the young goalies we have currently. This is the best time to give those green horns the necessary game time and not on the eve of a major tourney like the World Cup.

Kameni's return didn't affect the places of Ondoa and Onana. Place Enyeama in the team to help the young ones. Choose two out of Uzoho, Alampasu and Okoye. The trio of Enyeama, Uzoho and Alampasu(Okoye) in that department would be interesting.

Tell them chief. tell them.. Buy a megaphone and loud it!!
All these people who want us to bring back players who have retired from the national team don't really want the progress of the team... We have a lot of young talented players out there...give them a chance !! After all the ones that have retired where given their chance ahead of older and more experienced players and they delivered!

Watford are likely to sell Doucore to Everton so space will open up for him

Exactly, over 70% of these Francophone guys started their professional career in France , so they know the terrain. So it is easier for them to get good clubs like Lyon, Marseille ,Lille, PSG etc in France if they put up decent shift and stats

People will not agree na.

The only real big players they gave are the likes Of Mane, Yaya Toure , Drogba Eto'o, the Toure brothers that play in real big clubs not those washed up French teams that people in this group will not let us rest about.

When someone wants to bring up their players , they will be mentioning mid table clubs in Ligue 1, as if they are any better than the stoke city, Leicester, Galatasary or Watford of this world.

The only good team in France is PSG and Lyon. The rest are not even as good as Wolves or Leicester city

Lol. ChrisKels and Andrew44 started the argument before the AFCON..

Andrew would swear by everything that Senegal and CIV have better players than us but was always cautious to add that they can't beat us grin

You re quite right about the French league though ..its overrated...a league that has produced just one European champion... the money the Arabs are pumping into PSG is what's giving the league some respect in Europe... the like of Lyon,Lille and Marseille are good but don't have what it takes to challenge the big boys in Europe!!

Modified: The French league has a reputation for churning out talented players though. I'll give them that... I think only the Dutch have a bigger reputation than them in that aspect in Europe...

Lol thank God say you no lie for my haad, Kudos to you

They have better player than us

The reason why i said they cant beat us is that their players normally flop at competition

Look at nicolas pepe that was a beat in the french league, what happened to him? He flopped at afcon

Hope you know lyon have always challenged the big boys in europe before the emergence of arab money

And mind you i didnt rate ivory coast or senegal because of their french league players oooo, expecially ivor coast, i rate them because of their seria A players, i dont really rate the french league
