Sorry to disturb but I haven't received the ITA email yet. Does anyone have an idea time I would get it?

Congratulations to ITA clinchers
Like I predicted this draw to be 459 because my values showed 459.1,it is. This is just to give hope to hopefuls although there might be some miracle which might alter values.
Now for next draw based on available facts of this published values(if all conditions remain same). Currently values are,
CRS score range Number of candidates
601-1,200 262
451-600 6,193
401-450 38,013
441-450 7,571

My values show next draw to be 459.6 meaning next draw will be 460
(*All conditions being same, I hope I will be correct)

Hope this helps hopefuls plan

You are ignorant of the process. Don't mislead people. The Account Statement will not have everything required by CIC which the letter would.

Refer to the link below from the Canada Government website: It clearly states "For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you’re keeping money."

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

You're right. I rechecked the requirements and saw sample letters. Mabinu. No vex too much

POF is accepted in the spouse's account. However the PA will need to submit a letter from the spouse that the PA has full and unrestricted access to the funds.

does this letter need to be legalized in court or something? or a simple signature is ok

Don’t give up yet guys, try to improve your scores. Rewrite ielts, try TEF or get your spouse to write IELTS.

Tie breaker May 25

That means people who created their account between June/July with 459 are still in the pool.

And people who got NOI from ONTARIO (1600) will top the pool by August/October. ( not all will take it 1500 CAD is a lot of money) most people invited in May did not take it me inclusive

So many students just graduated as well. students graduated in JUne in canada

Also, this uncle Donald immigration policy is making many people, especially the Indians to focus more on Canada now and their scores are very high. ( uncle trump is planning his own points system too next year )

Everything seems different this year, the best thing we can do is to keep improving our scores.

Hi everyone, please I have a concern about the use of affidavits.

1. My WAEC certificate carries a weird version of my name. I abbreviated my first name and used only the first letter of my 2nd name to meet the character limit when registering for WAEC. I'm thinking one and same person affidavit. Correct.
2. My husband who is the PA has a DOB error on his WAEC. Month and year is correct but day is shown as 19 instead of 9. Will this require an affidavit? Yes.
3. I don't have my ECA report yet but I know the transcript from my school will indicate a wrong year of birth. This is because my parents were concerned I'd be denied admission for being too young and increased my age by 2 years. My original birth certificate and passport carry my accurate DOB. Can I use affidavit for this as well? Yes.

Overall my concern is will these raise eyebrows? I worry it might be too many affidavits for one application.
Two affidavits for you and one for your husband. That's not too many. It doesn't even matter.

459!

Honestly I feel very weak.

Entered the pool with 450 since May1. Missed the 450 draw on the day due to the tie-breaker rule and draws have been over the roof since then.

Birthday in mid August(PA)
Ielts expires on 2nd of September(Spouse)

Sorry about my rant, just needed to pour this out.

All in your hands God.

it will end in praise. Dont give up pls.

Am so sorry for responding to this late @4kimportX, my schedule has not permitted me.

Yes, CES accepts SOR.

I didn't have certificate, after my application they sent me a mail asking if I had a certificate. I said I had not been given by the University. They responded by saying I should not worry, they will proceed with Statement of Result. This was in January this year or so.

I hope things have not changed now anyways.

Cheers

Please what and what did you send to CES? And will they send you a copy?

I noticed people that try to avoid WES because of NECO or WAEC verification mostly make use of ICES and IQAS. Any reservations for CES or why people don't use CES? I want to start my spouse's ECA ASAP

I dont knw of any. I also ran to ICES because the accepted Notification of result in place of certificate, whereas CES refused

I have been following the thread for a while now and I wrote IELTS GT (MOD IDP) for the first time on July 6, 2019. Thankfully, the result came out as LRWS 9, 9, 7.5, 8.5

I would like to share some tips on the listening part. I understand it may not work for some but I think it helped me.

I used Cambridge books to prepare and increased the speed of audio playback (on exam day, the audio felt slower and I had more time to focus). It was difficult initially but I soon got used to listening to the audio, following the questions, and taking notes at the same time.

Before the narrator starts, I skim through the questions, underline key words and think of synonyms while predicting possible answers (or the format the answers could take). Sometimes, there are 'false start' answers; where the narrator corrects the answer while narrating (kindly pay attention).

https://ieltsonlinetests.com/ielts-exam-library#general-training is good for practice. Their listening test audio is faster than the usual Cambridge audio.

IELTS Liz, English Emma and E2 Language channels on YouTube are fantastic resources as well.

I can share the materials I used if you request.

I don’t understand this response. You mean an applicant doesn’t need a minimum of 8777 to have a high CRS
Stencil:
You're right but just a little modification if you don't mind, especially for those just starting out..
You really don't need 8777 if you have all your ducks in a row, it helps to have that if you are lacking elsewhere and need a boost.
I say this because I saw a case of someone who with a high CRS (ITA worthy) but still attempting to rewrite IELTS because he thought he needed 8777 to get into the pool.

In my sincere opinion, test Centre gimmicks is same by having a stringent marking scheme. However, with a well prepared candidate, failure is not an option.

Just take time to prepare and be very certain that you are ready to give it a shot.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry to disturb you on this; I've heard things about how one ielts body is tougher than the other from some people and i think it's better to hear from people with experience. My question is,
Between BC and MOD which will you encourage someone to take ielts with? I wouldnt mind if you give your reasons too ASAP pls

yes, lets say he studied in canada( 30 points) has sibling points (15). this will almost negate the 50 points 6.5 can swallow. But who has all these
