Greetings brethren,
I have a Camry 2012, I did a gearbox oil change...that is drained the old one and put in a new one. Now, immediately I drove out of the garage my check engine lit up...it was scanned and P2759 came up. Please with your huge expertise, what should I do please.

Hello mr Gazzuz. My toyota camry 2012 vibrate(shakes) atimes when the car is picking up speed bt dont vibrate or shakes when its on steady cruise when the gear shift has finished. The vibration i think (not sure) usually happen when shifting from 2&3. I taught of changing the gear oil may be i could be lucky bt am sceptical. Pls what could be the problem.i have the car for 2yrs now & it came with this condition. Thanks in anticipation.

How do you expect him to answer that question when he was not there when it was done, does not know how it was done, does not know the parts changed and used and no be him do am?
He's offering remote assistance online and not practicing sorcery.

What you have there is most likely a kazeemized 10pin transmission in place of a 13pin when gear was changed by previous owner.
Run a scan though.

I know all these but it looks like it is a general issue with ringed engine that was why I generalized my question.

I have a firsthand experience in this issue and I have observed that amongst people around me as well.

Maybe there is a mechanical explanation to it.

replacing ur engine is a delicate purchase due to vehicle age. Sadly I have no referrals

Whoever worked on the car did a poor job. A properly rebuilt engine would outlast the tokunbo one you want to buy, and anybody that tells you it's cheaper to ring or rebuild an engine to factory specs and with the right parts as compared to buying a fairly used one is telling lies. If you rebuild an engine and it got worse, then it's either the damage on the engine is irreparable or the mechanic is a quack.

I am thinking going for one of those Nigerian used Corolla, you offer for sale sometimes,or a tokunbo 206 or 306 imported directly from France for 900k.
My budget for Corolla is 1m naira.
While the Peugeot is manual transmission.
You urgent assistance is needed

any 2003-2007 corolla at that price is usually in poor shape.

Please do not dabble into peugeot.

Mechanic is a quack. A lot of "toks" engines are "condemned" engines from Naija used cars that are washed and properly ringed/rebuilt.

The 206 is an excellent choice(306 is an old car, 307's (facelift especially) are very sensitive).
Suspension parts last much longer than the Corolla's - if you live in a place with bad roads.
It is extremely fuel efficient! Uses less fuel than some Corolla trims.
Parts are far cheaper than the corolla (check the parts market yourself).
The driving experience is far superior to the corolla
Nobody would steal your 206 at night (like corolla's and camry)
Police would respect you on the road with a 206 (it's a military issue vehicle).

I use one, my customers have used theirs for 10 years and more straight no complaints.

The only issues are:
1. Don't tamper with the electrical connection (don't bypass anything, don't connect fan direct, etc) leave them as factory - don't listen to anybody that tells you to bypass either.
2. Always service with right oil and filter as on the manual
3. If you're the type that buys and sells cars quickly the Corolla would sell for more than the 206.

Apart from that it's a very rugged vehicle.

Honestly! only thing that can maybe save you from that is a VIN check but what is the guarantee the engine wasn't already half gone before it was shipped undecided

Good evening house. I'm a first time car owner, i got 20litres of fuel yesterday for my second hand 2001 Camry drop light covering less than 90km with AC between yesterday and today. It's in reserve already. How efficient pls? How long should 20 litres of fuel cover?

Why don't you jejely buy a Nissan serena. Engine wise you won't have problem with the presage but body and suspension could be the problem when it's time for replacement
