About the struggling part I agree. I've assessed the intellectual capabilities of the housemates and I must say, not a lot of them are able to engage in abstract intellectual discussions. People need to realize that being emotionally intelligent and having a business acumen doesn't guarantee the intelligence that allows you the capacity to think abstractly. I mean take Kim Kardashian as an example. In my opinion Sir Dee, Seyi, Jackye, Khafi and Jeff seem to be the only ones intelligent enough to engage in these sorts of discussions. But even at that they seem to let me down a lot of times. I am usually left expecting more.

That would make for an interesting discussion. I think both fields work in tandem to improve the quality of human life. But historically speaking, Traditional medicine(a branch of science and a precusor to modern medicine) helped sustain human life way before the development of complex economic and commercial systems. But if you weigh both on their qualitative value, science definitely has tremendously improved the quality of human life, but it has also caused a lot of devastation and death and mayhem, some of which wouldn't have been possible if it had not been propagated by commerce and dangerous ideas that have economic underpinnings. The argument is very complicated and I wish I could watch how they'd tackle it.
