Guys I’m in tears of joy now.
Never thought I’d eat ukwa again for a long time.
I found this website on a random search and ordered ukwa from them. They are based in Texas and my items got to me in less than 3 days. The ukwa is even fresher than I thought I’d be given that it’s been dried a bit to preserve it. And only $8 shipping fee shocked

They also have kuli kuli, stock fish, banga spice. I’ll be ordering again from them. The customer service was also on point. I don’t even know who this lady is (calls herself Mary) but this is how you do business.

Wait for the cooked ukwa okay? cheesy

Oh dear, this is what we take for granted here. I can't wait to see the magic you will produce with it. Ukwa is one of my favorite food, especially eating and drinking the broth. Lol

Nice one, support a Nigerian sister's business. I eat kuli kuli everyday here in Lagos, I like the nutty taste and the crunch. Waiting for your pix and method of preparation

I bought it for 5k and it was worth the price.

The extra advantage you get is it's well cleaned .

The website is called carrygo.com. Check them out. I even saw they have oxford cabin biscuits. Proper Nigerian seller if you ask me.

I can relate babe. I’ve been wanting to make native rice and abacha but my husband is not into those things. He will just abandon the whole pot for me. I told him we will have to employ a family of proper Nigerians to eat food for us. That way I can practice all the recipes I put on hold because I don’t know who will eat them.

LOL...words of consolation.
It was alive when I bought it.
I kept it on a leash, but it struggled out of it.
We had to improvise and then used another means to bring it down.
Usually, when the sellers want to kill it, they tie it on a short leash and strike it with a machete or a strong wood.
I guess the dog realised what we had planned and made a run for it.
In the end, it served its purpose.
Why not show us a picture of the head instead of typing this epistle boss ??

It’s breadfruit seeds. Not groundnut.

It’s common in the eastern part of Nigeria
