Aww! Congratulations! So happy for you! The CSE worked grin

All the best in Canada

Hello guys,

So I woke up to see the golden RFV email on my phone after battling this journey for this long. grin grin grin

This came after I posted that I raised a CSE expressing the travesty that was done in the evaluation of my POF by the case officer who stated an amount well below what I had declared. I prepared my counter-argument and requested that a review be done again as I believe that this could be a reason for the delay I have experienced which is totally unfair.

The thought of the person whose application was rejected because of NOC mismatch just crossed my mind now.

How are you faring bro/sis? Hope you have crossed that hurdle and reapplied?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by kemmystree2015: 7:45pm On Jul 25, 2019
I actually read through properly and discovered it was evaluated in 2011 as a course by course evaluation. I have messged WES to ask if it can be upgraded to an ECA report for immigration purposes this time. I am awaiting their response.
Thanks

daybour:

If your WES was done after 2013, you can actually request an additional report after the first five years because they keep your record for ten years

I had the same fear (NOC not matching with job designation) and while i was scrolling through this plattfom, i read a post where the person with this issue has sent an updated reference letter. I immediately contacted HR and explained the situation then i got an updated reference where the NOC now matches with my job description and sent it immediately via webform. (Though still waiting to get an acknowledgement from IRCC because today is 6 days post submission)

I think you can explore this option because it is better to be on the safe side than to be sorry. All the best.

It will end in praise
Thanks, I really appreciate, it's just mere anxiety, you know when your mind is just playing games on you, that's exactly what happened jare. Eventuarry it will end in praise.

Happy Sunday Gurus

1. One of my previous place of work where I worked for 5 years has folded up. Please how do I go about getting point for this experience? Read here https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/129#60331417

2. Will IRCC still send mail to employers to verify work experience despite sending a stamped reference letter and payslip issued by the employer? It depends on the Visa Office

3. What is best way to go for POF, TB or gift deed? If TB, does it mean I have to wait for 3 or 6 months that it'll mature before I can submit ITA? People convert their gift deed into TB but you provide both docs in your application. 6 months is usually advised since that is the length of your processing time and you will wait, the same way you wait for PPR.

Thanks.

This happened to me. My profile was already eligible before the change in POF by CIC so as soon as I tried to update some information, my profile became ineligible. I had to change the amount in the POF section to tally with the new amount and created another profile. I suggest you check your POF amount.

I was paid for it. Do I need to indicate it? For instance, intern engineer?

I have been following the thread for a while now and I wrote IELTS GT (MOD IDP) for the first time on July 6, 2019. Thankfully, the result came out as LRWS 9, 9, 7.5, 8.5

I would like to share some tips on the listening part. I understand it may not work for some but I think it helped me.

I used Cambridge books to prepare and increased the speed of audio playback (on exam day, the audio felt slower and I had more time to focus). It was difficult initially but I soon got used to listening to the audio, following the questions, and taking notes at the same time.

Before the narrator starts, I skim through the questions, underline key words and think of synonyms while predicting possible answers (or the format the answers could take). Sometimes, there are 'false start' answers; where the narrator corrects the answer while narrating (kindly pay attention).

https://ieltsonlinetests.com/ielts-exam-library#general-training is good for practice. Their listening test audio is faster than the usual Cambridge audio.

IELTS Liz, English Emma and E2 Language channels on YouTube are fantastic resources as well.

I can share the materials I used if you request.

Worth the try! Please share how it goes eventually. They like honesty.
So, he is basically going to say, i have a pikin but my wife has full custody so I cannot do medicals for him without permission and she has not giving her permission? FYI, i dont know if oyinbo people will understand him not having shared custody well but make e try! I believe the rules state that he has to list all his dependents even if they are not traveling with you so he is doing the right thing.

Flopretty:

Thank you for the response.

Let me inform you that the ex-wife is not aware at all that my brother is doing any Canada immigration stuff, so the thought that she suspecting that he's planning to travel with the child is not there at all. My brother is only bothered about including the child name in the application so as to make it easy to bring him to canada later especially for University education which i believe the mother will not mind then, although the child is just 5years now and my brother does not want to travel with the child now honestly.

He is now thinking of submitting the application without including the medical report for the child but wish to add LOE for it. Does it make any sense? Can it fly without any problem?

Good day guys...I’m currently at the WES stage. My. School has sent my transcripts to WES via courier and I received a mail from Wes that they are waiting for verification from my school. I called the guy who is monitoring it on my behalf in my school (school staff) who said I will need to send money for the verification via courier service. Is the second verification supposed to be by email to Wes? Or by courier service? Seems the guy want to rip me. I attended National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Your responses will be appreciated.

Good day house

I’m having difficulty creating an express entry profile. Note I have my IELTS and ECA. Each time I create it will tell me I’m ineligible. I have tried it more than five times. Someone should please advise and how I can go about it

When I determine my eligibility it tells me I am ineligible. And when I fill my profile, I get the email that I am ineligible

check the minimum requirements vs your profile features
Please how do I check the minimum requirement ?

I have done CRS calculator and my score is 358, at least I should still enter the pool.

I have two certificates, 30yrs although my IELTs is not that great at the moment, but I should still be able to enter the pool

Good evening, good people. I hope everyone is well. I need some advice, please.

I received ITA last night, CRS 469.

My challenge is with the POF. My husband and I were hit with some awful challenges concerning our baby's health. We sold all our good properties to raise funds for the treatment. She's very well now, but from all I've read here, I have serious concerns about POF being 100% gift deed. My uncle has offered to help but I don't know how to go about this without raising the VO's eyebrow.

Please help. Thank you.

many of the testimonies posted here were 100% gift deed. Have even seen some use 25% of his pensions as total pof.
