As long as the name you used to register for WES is the same as what is on your passport then there is no nothing to bother about. Claudiapam: |

You are to send photocopy of your certificate yourself. your school should send your transcript or give it to you in a sealed envelope to send to Wes, you cannot send the transcript you have in you possession because amongst other reasons it is not addressed to Wes. And yes your 4yrs HRM exp will surely fly for EE magastefan: |

Its PPR Guysssssssssssssssssssssssssssss The feeling is out of this world. i literally didnt sleep all night. I was just staring at the email all night. My story is verrrrrry long. let me give a summarized version because the joy has made me to forget all the hassles. WES - OCTOBER 2018 IELTS - 5th ATTEMPT (MOD) - NOV 2018 (1st Attempt- October 2017) - Hubby kept gingering me because i was tired of this IELTS. Finally - LRWS (8,7.5,8,8.5) (I was getting ready for the 6th IELTS oh because i was not confident i would pass the 5th). Thank you hubby for believing in me, pushing me and making me believe in myself because honestly, paying that money over and over again no be here and i was about to give up on my canadian dream of almighty IELTS. Marriage - December 2018 (I didnt change my surname, maintained my maiden name for my EE application) ITA - 1st January or so (Profile Ineligible) 2nd ITA- 10th January 2019 Medicals - 29th January 2019 AOR - 3rd February 2019 P.O.F - 50% gift deed from my mum, 50% from accompanying spouse (with all the documents to explain), then 25% of pensions, salary account statement, fixed deposit certificate, letter from pensions. WEB FORM - Raised CSEs 4 times via webform. as the spirit leads oh, just keep raising if you feel you need to explain anything or include or update any document (i raised CSEs for the following reasons - renewed international passport, to be informed of my processing centre, updated p.o.f, change of job notification (with new offer letter, j.d, i,d card, payslip, business card), updated reference from previous employment - 7 days ago (Because i was afraid thinking that my noc and Job Description was not matching). Guys, its better to to be safe than sorry ohhhhh. the last CSE is even yet to be acknowledged. i dont even want the acknowledgement again. I am sure they got tired of my CSEs. Hubby was even telling that the CSEs haff do. L.O.E - Explaining plenty things e.g why my surname is not the same with my husband's and previous visa refusals from 4 countries for spouse and myself (1), change of correspondence address, basically everything that needed clarity. CALLS TO CIC- 3 TIMES I think, the last was 3 days ago. and as usual - Eligibility and Security not started, criminality and medicals passed. No Ghost update, no ADR- At some point, i was seriously praying for just one ghost update at least i will know my application is being processed. (When God has something bigger than Ghost Update ) PPR (Via E-mail)- 25th July 2019. VO - Ottawa Honestly, i checked my email and CIC account every single day till i got PPR. the wait no be here. i prayed every day for a positive feedback, i was agitated, scared, hopeful and positive all at the same time. just as i was about to sleep i saw the GOLDEN MAIL. My application was not perfect but God's grace found me and Hubby. This is indeed a dream come true. The journey that started in 2017 has finally come true. I wish everyone a speedy process along the way. God will perfect everything IJN. Trust in him and make sure you ask any question (Relevant or irrelevant) with regards to your application. do not assume and do not think you know when you may not be sure. Research via nairaland and other forums, keep reading and getting all the required info. Thank you to my nairaland family and FEB whatsapp AOR. (You guys are the real mvps). Please do not give up at any stage because victory is just by the corner. May Canada favour us all ijn. Amen. It will surely end in Praise 87 Likes 4 Shares |

Here's my timeline guys IELTS – September 29, 2018 ECA- January 22, 2019 CRS – 481 ITA- January 23 AOR – February 8 2019 MEP/BIL - March 25 2019 S I L E N C E I called several times and I kept getting the same response, criminality passed, eligibility and security not started. Ghost update 1 – July 13 ADR – July 15 (Schedule A) Ghost update 2 – July 20 PPR – July 22 (exactly 6 months from ITA) VO - Ottawa IELTS – 9, 9, 8, 7.5 (LRSW) I wrote this once and maxed out and I am so grateful because I only started preparing for it 2 days before the exam. As there was no time, I only used the road to IELTS that British Council provided to study for listening and reading, in fact, the first practice section I worked on I got only 50%! Anyways, I studied my mistakes (one word where they asked for three, spelling inconsistencies, etc) and worked on fixing them and by the second day when I did the exam samples I had 38 & 39 over 40. For writing I did not practice at all because by the time I got to it, it was 12:01 am on the day of the exam. I watched about 5 videos but 3 were especially helpful. Two liz videos where she talks about writing the first paragraph and writing the last paragraph of task 2 essays – I followed her advice to the T. Also, there’s one jay Video where he talks about writing the body paragraphs and how to separate your points – I followed his advice too. In addition to the videos for writing, I spent about one-hour reading level 9 essays just to see what excellence looked like and I modeled my essay after the samples I read. Please, I’ll personally advice that if you can please practice writing, I didn’t and on the exam day I almost cried. I started with task one, took 40 mins to finish it and had only 20 mins to rush through task 2 – I barely finished and did not proofread it. If I had practiced at all, I’d have known my strengths and weaknesses and worked to fix them, don’t be like me. Also, there’s one blogpost I read somewhere about having 5 paragraphs for task one – Introduction, question 1, question 2, question 3, and closing paragraph – that's how I modeled my letter. I went to bed by 3am and woke up by 6 am to get to my center; abeg, don’t be like me. ECA- WES It seems like all the problems I missed in IELTS were waiting for me here – Unilag connived with WES to show me pepper, but my God is greater them. This took 6 months!! I also evaluated my first degree from OAU using etx.ng and surprisingly, they came through after about 5 weeks. Imagine a story where the etx.ng guys are the good guys. Medicals- IOM- 04/02/2019 Took the entire day, I was there from 9am until 4pm – stressed me out. PCC - 5k I used inspector Moshood, and the whole thing took about one hour POF Originally uploaded my Tbills investment certificate. It matured in March, so I converted it to USD, put in my dom account and sent them a letter from the bank showing my balance. Passport Studio 24 Allen The Wait Mannn, this was something else. I caved in and ordered GCMS notes on June 18 and it was delivered July 18 but by then I had already gotten a ghost update and an ADR so I didn’t really care. I also used the wait time to write my CBAP exam so all in all, I don’t count it as time wasted I want to end this by saying a VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone on this thread, everything I used to put my application together I learnt from here and crosschecked on the CIC website. May the good Lord meet each and every one of you at your different points of need; hold on to Him tightly – He neither sleeps nor slumbers, and he is never late. jmnsimone: 68 Likes 10 Shares |

Good afternoon all, I need your wealth of experience and advise on my current situation. I have been working on my application for a while however I was trying to save up some funds for POF. Fund is available now and we have completed the application yesterday. The score is 467 but my spouse's ielts result is due to expire on the 19th of August. Based on the current trend I expect we will receive ITA by the next draw due to the CRS score. Should we proceed to apply with the almost expired ielts or we should decline when it comes and wait until she re writes the exam. Most documents are available and we can ensure we submit on the same day ITA received. Which should be around the 7th of August Kindly advise 1 Like 1 Share |

Oluwolefola: If you're sure you'd submit your application on August 7th, then apply with the current IELTS. Your IELTS will be locked after AOR. 5 Likes 1 Share |

IELTS is valid for two years only from the test date. If you take a test and decide not to use it at all , no one will penalize you but someone somewhere will enjoy your test fees. aremso: 1 Like |

If you ask a specific question where you are having issues, it is easier for someone to assist you. Many people on this thread have used ICES successfully. Start reading here: https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/ Then post any specific questions you have. Azeemazeemah: |

No implication. Use one and same person affidavit when you are submitting your EE profile. WES can send your brother the hard copy. You won't need it so long as you have your soft copy with you. The information is the same. sambless2013: |

No need to rewrite IELTS gets locked in at AOR so as long as you submit before the expiration date, you should be safe. See below from CIC website "How long language test results are valid for Your test results must be less than two years old when you submit your application for permanent residence. If you’ve been invited to apply for permanent residence Check that your language test results will still be valid when you plan to apply. If you haven’t been invited to apply for permanent residence You may want to make sure your results are valid for the rest of the time you’ll be in the pool. If your results will expire before you can apply, you should: be tested again or apply before your test results expire or decline the invitation and go back into the pool to be considered in the future If you apply for permanent residence with language test results that have expired, we’ll refuse your application."
