andrew444: Rangers is a club l actually know very well. It waa not a SUPRISE AT ALL to me, many moons ago when the debate was going on here that Umar is better than Tega Abrahams and Ighalo. I made the comment that Sadiq Umar would struggle in the English league one. With hindsight l was being generous and overly optimistic. Each league has its unique characteristics whicc means you need certain attributes to survive and overcome. After watching Sadiq l said he lacks physicality although big and tall he lacks strength. At the slightest touch he falls over. I even suggested he may flat feet and a problem with his ankles. Fast forward in training sessions he was woeful that's how bad it was getting bullied by youth players and oyibo at that. Now that's a disgrace from my prejudice double standard oyibo boys deh bully you Chei. He ended up playing youth football U23 in one game he was substituted at half time didn't score and was not having impact. 17 year old Dapo Mebude came in to replace him and promptly scored a hat trick. In summary Sadiq Umar was very poor he may do better in a less physically intensive league. He is forever remembered very vividly in one of the two games he played for Rangers. When he was 1 on 1 with goalkeeper and instead of scoring or taking a shot he dives very poorly hoping to get the penalty. At that stage he was slated by everyone. 1 Like |

elyte89: Dream Team VII forward, Orji Okonkwo netted a goal for Impact Montreal in an away 2-1 defeat to FC Cincinnati, AOIFootball.com reports The 21-year- old Nigerian forward was brought onto the field of play to replace Micheal Azira after his team had gone behind by two goals in the 63rd minute, moment after they conceded the second goal. However, it was the Bologna loanee who pulled one back for the visitors after capitalizing on Maximiliano Urruti’s past 12 minutes after coming on. http://aoifootball.com/2019/05/12/mls-orji-okonkwo-scores-in-montreals-2-1-loss-to-fc-cincinnati/ 1 Like 1 Share |

andrew444: Morrison is a total Wasteman, out on the club in Manchester hanging with his boys doing NUTTIN. His problem are all self birthed, highly indisciplined, zero focus, etc But again If he changes his ATTITUDE in a season or two he will be back in the EPL. He reminds me of Balotelli sometimes a player who should really be challenging Messi and Ronald has settled for being the top man in the French league. |

Bournemouth are on the verge of completing the signing of Nigeria-eligible midfielder Philip Billing. According to the BBC, The Cherries have agreed to sign the Denmark U21 international on a five-year deal for a transfer fee in the region of fifteen million pounds. The future of Billing at Huddersfield has been the subject of much speculation following the demotion of the club to the Championship at the end of the 2018-19 campaign. In addition, the 23-year-old has not enjoyed a good relationship with manager Jan Siewert since the German joined the club. He made 91 appearances in total for The Terriers in all competition, including 43 in the Premier League and scored 6 goals. Barring a last-minute change, the Nigeria Football Federation target will undergo a medical on Monday ahead of his unveiling by Bournemouth. Dual-eligible trio Nnamdi Ofoborh, Jordon Ibe and Dominic Solanke have been training with Bournemouth's first team before the resumption of the new season. |

Hamburg management are delighted to have completed the signing of Arsenal winger Xavier Amaechi. HSV have paid €2.5m for the teenager, who has penned a five-year contract. HSV sports director Jonas Boldt said, "He's a young talented player who has a lot of pace, good short quick moves and one-on-one situations. "At first I did not think it possible that we could negotiate for this player, but especially Michael Mutzel got in touch with him very early and fought hard for a transfer with the player. "Amazing was his determination to come to HSV despite many lucrative offers from home and abroad. Even if we expect a lot from him, a little patience is needed." Amaechi also said, "The conditions at HSV are top. I am really impressed by the team, the fans and the stadium. I think it's a great opportunity for me to play for this club." |

Brendan Rodgers:“What (Kelechi) has to do, and I’m sure he will, is take his training form into the games,” Rodgers told LeicestershireLive. "He’s been absolutely top class in training over pre-season, he’s been amazing. When were away in Evian and he played in the practice game, he scored four goals out of five. He was sensational. “He needs to take that into games. That’s key for him and I’m sure he’ll do that. “It’s difficult. You have to respect his position. He’s a support striker for one of the best strikers in the Premier League. It’s not easy. “All he can do is continue to work and work well and when the opportunities come, he’s got to take them. “Once they start to go in, he’ll gain more confidence from that.” CC goodJoe 11 Likes 1 Share |
