ElsonMorali:it wasnt the north who ruled abia state as military sole admins from 1970 to 1999? U think the few yrs of democracy can alter 35yrs of northern military legacy via which they produced the 1999 constitution without involving the people...tell me how nigeria can develope with the present rent-seeking arrangement. The north feeds the nation? A joke at best. Let them 1st feed almijiris dying of hunger in their streets b4 feeding the nation. Tell me which food nigeria doesnt import 2 Likes |

Aonkuuse:do you know what 11000MW of power means!? That's quite a huge improvement in power. All we have to do now is to make sure the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is able to convey all of it to the national grid; if not, it is work done equal to zero! |

Natoski5: Very bad move. Roadmap is another word for strategy and planning, Nigeria government is asking a private company, "Siemen", to work out an energy strategy for Nigeria, isn't that suppose to be the work of the Nigeria power ministry and academic institutions. |

Bogus deal. We've not been told what Germany stands to gain in the deal. Perhaps million or billion of barrels of free crude oil exported to them. |

Germans are serious people and don't play with con tract, if they signed a contract they will execute it and i believe they are transparent.i want to believe that our government know the implications of defaulting a german contract.its a right move by the Nigerian government and let's be optimistic that something good comes out of it.my only problem is that there are some bad people in Nigeria who will never want this project executed.some people are there who don't want any thing good to happen in the country .they are enemies of progress Jeezuzpick: |

martineverest: Nothing is happening in Mambilla, The Buhari government has not even constructed a road to the Mambilla waterfall, right now the government is contesting litigation issues on Mambilla. Fashola has been fooling Nigeria. Sunrise recently brought Nigeria and its Chinese partners before the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. Nigeria faces another $2.3 billion fine in arbitration over breach of contract. Sunrise was behind the Mambilla hydroelectric dam project. It would have been Nigeria's biggest hydropower plant, capable of generating 3,050 megawatts of power. |
