Bodylicious: Let us all pray ohhh...What am hearing is not funny at all. The list for those with slots are increasing by the day...I just hope it will not eat into the list for merit... To be honest, the more APL is delayed, d more chances of merit reducing. I just hope the list is sent as soon as possible. As long as APL no reach person hand, name can be easily replaced with some one that has more connection than you. 12 Likes |

wrrw:
I know of 3 persons interviewed on July 3rd, 2019; did their CBT in Benin and who received the first alert sent not by KING-ANYAM TERHEMBA but by "ACHIMUGU FAROUK (MIS)" - whose payment is termed by flowwolf09 as the payment for the top 1% candidates from each state. Two out of three candidates are both working in one of the NNPC subsidiaries, they both hail from different oil producing states and their community produces oil for the nation. One of them is a first class candidate with a master's degree in one of the top 10 universities in the world and they both had a good interview session.
No relationship between APL and TF. A lot of theories and hypothesis has been postulated in this thread. However, the idea of feeling safe because certain persons with unique portfolio have not received alert could be a mistake bearing in mind that Nigeria is filled with so many persons with extra ordinary credentials. You would have noticed sth during this recruitment exercise that NNPC hardly gets back to unsuccessful candidates. Unsuccessful applicants who were not invited for the exam and unsuccessful candidates that did not pass the exam were not sent any message. Although both the Access Bank Claims and flowwolf09 are both hypothesis which have not been proven to be theories, I leave the audience to deliberate on which one is more logical considering the trend of things since the day of the NNPC application. Everyone will be paid eventually.
I know of certain persons with good track record - First class (1st degree) and Distinction (masters degree) from top universities in the world who were interviewed but were not selected for the 2011/2012 NNPC recruitment (some states and disciplines are so competitive that even the mighty will go down). The God factor has a lot of role to play. The beautiful thing about the 2019 NNPC recruitment is the high number of persons that will be recruited when compared to that of 2012. Everyone should hope that the number of candidates or top performers in their state and their field of specialization are few.
The recruitment that brought the last set of NNPC employees (2012) started its examination on March 19th, 2011. It was not easy for many candidates since PTDF examination date was on the same day (March 19th, 2011). NNPC exam was still on by 7.00 p.m. in the evening that candidates in some centres needed lighting facilities in order to finish their exam. As for 2011 PTDF, CBT exam was in batches and exam was still on as at 10.00 pm in the night in some centres. The duration of the 2011/2012 NNPC Interview conducted for the selected candidates (less than 5,000 candidates) lasted for more than a month. The 2019 NNPC interview (with over 9,000 candidates) lasted for just 2 weeks even when the number of those selected for the interview is far more than those selected in 2011/2012 recruitment.
In 2013, another advert was put forth for NNPC jobs. Exams were written (HB pencil option) on December 6, 2014 and candidates were sent invitation for interview that was never conducted since Ex-President Jonathan lost election to President Buhari. The current NNPC candidate selection process for 2019 was delayed till now since NNPC was awaiting the outcome of the 2019 election. The organization of the 2011 and 2014 test (HB pencil) conducted by NNPC is no where close to the way it was done in 2019 (CBT test). A job well done by the current management of NNPC.
The number of those to be employed is more than a thousand as we all know. There's a huge gap created by the cancellation of the NNPC 2014 recruitment exercise which needs to be filled up by the 2019 prospective employees. Also a lot of NNPC staff have retired spanning from 2012 till date of which the previous GMD is now one of the retirees. Wish you all the best as we expect the arrival of APL. Pls, no questions. Mr flowwolf09 you never get tired ne, just how many monikers you get for this platform. I CAN SEE YOU WOH 4 Likes |

I love your faith, but if you ask me, I'd say you wait till you get your APL, you'd be given about three weeks to confirm/concur and submit your confirmation to work with NNPC after which a week extra would be given before resumption; all these equates a month and a week likely, so why the rush? On no condition would I advise anyone to resign prior to receipt of APL; On a more serious note I think the saga in NNPC naija hot thread is slowly but steadily replaying itself here where some persons resigned without getting the job and ended up with nothing. Even when we keep hope and faith alive; let's thread with caution please. A word they say is more than enough... Nicely put... It will all become clear as the week unfolds . Cheers 2 Likes |

All those points you gave in your first paragraph do not guarantee one getting APL. I'm not saying there's relationship between TP and APL, but saying because those guys have received alert isn't a yardstick. wrrw:

Adeebiwa09: Good morning, I am not a theorist but this talk on state of origin and stuff brought some questions to my mind. Cos I heard some guys said they are competing amongst themselves, others are like we are much here.
1. Was it used in choosing the 200000 application called for cbt 2. Was it is to choose those called for interview? 3.What is most people from a state/zone/LGA failed compared to most who passed from other states/zone/LGA 4. What if only few or much people did well in the interview 5. Finally what is the place of discipline and role in the process
Let me use a senerio, out of the 200000, 900 made it from Niger state most of them from Niger West senatorial district say 450 out of the 900, and most of the 900 are SEMT, after the interview only 19 of the 450 could be considered for employment, while from the two other district 8 and 9 respectively but the least of the 19 still got a higher performance than the best of both. Meanwhile most of the 19 are NON-SEMT. Where does the zoning come on here.
Thank you... PRO AOLMW Aha that's how no body said anything about this. Toh let me call the names of students sweeping the class today and prefects on duty Larride, Jarus, beeam, Gbriels, bobowaja, mosgoon, and other local men and women... How far. I repeat this is not a theory o 1 Like |

Moham553: Some of you that have great jobs and intend to leave them for nnpc. Please consider letting unsuccessful candidates on this forum in on it because tension full ground. Let everyone win! If I quit my current job for NNPC, my immediate report is likely going to be promoted to take over my role. I may not be around to interview the person that will replace him. But not really sure of this NNPC yet. If I get it, it will put me in serious dilemma. Pay wise, it doesn't compare my current position, but NNPC offers more stability and security, and a bigger organization. I also prefer Abuja as a city to my current Lagos (even though moving to Abuja returns me to being a tenant). Another big pro of NNPC is, it could be a stepping stone to international energy bodies like OPEC which generally prefer people with NOC experience (compared to a relatively small oil company). The principal reason I applied for NNPC was to get first hand info to use for my interview coaching side venture, but along the line, I found myself getting more serious as my friends that work there try to convince me. The decision would have been very easy if I could be considered for managerial role (which is impossible as my years of experience is 11 as opposed to 18 years NNPC required) or SS1 supervisor (3 years before managerial position). Insha Allah, when we get to the bridge. But as at today, the "don't take it" decision is still the stronger instinct. By the way, as nobody is above regret email, if I don't get NNPC offer, makes the decision easiest. 35 Likes |
