KoiceReloaded:Hahahha, guy I swear you no go kill me. So how about this definition of consistent cause I see you picked the last one in the lot. acting or done in the same way over time, especially so as to be fair or accurate . So do i ignore this one?? |

mekaprime: I didn't misinterprete you at all. You were saying for something to be termed factual, it has to have occurred many times, which is a fallacy. Anyhoo, Prey killing predator in the wild is known occurrence, and not a once in a blue moon thing you and your friend were making it out to be. 1 Like |

mekaprime: Bros, Koice dey right na. Fact in science is way different from fact as in general terms, or use of English. Fact in science is something or an occurrence that can be proven with evidence consistently, not hypothetical or theoretical. But general terms for facts is that something happens or has happened, the mere occurrence of something happening is already a fact cause it exists. 1 Like |

mekaprime: Hehehe. Bro, consistent has multiple meanings, but which one is compatible with consistent as it was used in the sentence? This is where your brain earns it's stripe. Use you tongue and count your teeth so-to-speak. 1 Like |

KoiceReloaded:From the general point of view as regards fact you're right but i was never arguing from the general POV, rather I was of the science POV, since its wildlife we are talking of. |
Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by mekaprime: 9:53pm On Jul 28, 2019 |
KoiceReloaded: From the Science POV that definition is a more compatible one. |

mekaprime: Science as it is used in that link denotes core science, as in, experiment, hypothesis, clinical trials... the works, the whole shebang. Not social SCIENCE. 1 Like |

KoiceReloaded:Am not talking of the science in the link but of scientific fact. |
Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Nobody: 10:09pm On Jul 28, 2019 |
mekaprime: Still the same thing. Tomato, tomaydo. Scientific facts are the fact gotten from scientific experiments. That's what you're talking about, no? Well, wildlife is outside of scientific purview, and falls within social science purview. Social science is about life in general. 1 Like |

KoiceReloaded:Correct me if am wrong here. Aren't Biologist, Zoologist, wildlife scientists those who specialize in the wildlife discipline? if so then, how is wildlife not pure science? |

KoiceReloaded: So if I may ask, does it being about the social aspect of life animal life stop a zoologist or biologist from making a scientific observation so as to ascertain if a particular event is a fact or not? If your answer is no, then permit me proceed with an example but if yes, ignore. A Biologist/zoologist etc, observes 10 different closed case scenarios of a fight to the death between a Lion & a Zebra. Out of the 10 outcomes, we had just one outcome were a Zebra kills a Lion. In drawing the conclusion as to reflect the fact would it be done inductively or deductively? & how should it be written, should it be: -Zebras kill lions Or -Sometimes, Zebras do kill Lions...So pls do enlighten me. |

Facts in science is talking about facts derived from experiments, not in general terms. Koice is right. |
