erunzy:Hello,what's your location? I ask because the best way to get all the necessary information you need on the topic is to travel down to Akwete in Ukwa east LGA of Abia State. Akwete cloth production system is an ancient technique that used to be a very closely guarded secret for only the initiated ones,and having over 100 different patterns. Nowadays, I think mostly the elderly women are the ones still making those clothes. kindly share with us your findings. |
