I don't think that's a fair assessment. he still has a lot to learn, however, how do you rate his decision making and general use of the ball?

I think he hasn't started playing for himself yet. I think he's still in awe of Lingard, Rashford and Co. Because most of times he could have done something different with the ball, he gave it to the nearest person that asks for the ball. No matter how much of a team player you are, a bit of selfishness is needed in football. Especially for forwards.
He still has a lot to learn but so far, apart from the speed, I've not seen much to be excited about. But it's still early times, there will be enough games for us to assess his overall performance.

What's your definition of "mugged off"?

He probably didn’t watch the game. grin

I said mugged off because I thought we would be held to a 0-0 draw despite all our possession and chances.

McSauce has improved a lot. The Dude is good to go! I will play him over Fred any Day any time. But if we eventually sign Bruno, then McSauce should have a nice Seat on the Bench.

And who do you expect to mark and do dirty work in that midfield?

Uncle Labilé alias I wanna be free or Long Range Merchant Bruno?

Mehn, until we get a specialist DM we need McBizzle in that setup.

I watched the last 10 mins of the first half and most of the second half.

Greenwood moves like RVP. I am excited for that boy.

Fred will always be suspect. You'll be happy with him one second, then he will give the ball away the next second.

I think Chong should go on loan.

We need an intelligent midfielder who can make the type of run that Mata made that gave us the PK. Or someone who can spot thoss runs. While I like Pereira, I don't think he's that someone.

Young should gedifuk

One-sided game. I don't think this is a good workout.

He can’t dribble so he wastes a lot of the 1v1 situations he gets. His crossing and finishing is very average.
The positives are his speed and work rate, plus he is not an obviously stupid player ( decision making is not bad).
But in terms of technique he is championship level. I would have preferred his squad place went to Greenwood and Chong. He is not currently better than them and they have way more potential.
well he came for "pittance", let's take solace in that grin while we hope there's more in his locker somewhere.

Ehm...you watched enough. grin

It wasn’t a bad match. We started slow and didn’t make most of our chances. McTom the only positive in the first 45.

Fred still has a ways to go. Looks jittery and was easily dispossessed a couple of times.

How’s that loan move coming?
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 8:52pm On Jul 30, 2019
Eric Bailly is out for four to five months due to injury

Opari. Maguire is definitely joining this team.

Pogba can spot those runs. And he can make them too. He’s about the only person in the squad who can.

I don’t know about Pereira. Maybe he’ll develop into a specialist player kinda like Beckham? I don’t know but I like what I’ve been seeing. He’s much improved than he was a year ago under Mourinho.

We all have to hope that. Matic doesn't near this team..That guy is finished abeg..Too slow for a DM..Against top counter attacking teams, if he's in there, we'll concede a lot of goals..

this guy should be signed only if he wants to join and not because he's been pushed out from Juventus or put on some ridiculous wages.

He is being pushed out and he does not want to come to United. I heard he has demanded that United double his wages in order for him to accept the move.
This is looking like another Sanchez/Di Maria move.

Double wages?

United should just collect the £80m for Lukaku instead of the £10m + swap deal and let Dybala stay with his beloved Juve pls. Can't add more potential drama to the Pogba situation.

Personally don't think Dybala has the intensity to play the pressing football Ole is trying to implement. Also, we all know the sort of 'good luck' we have with Argentineans.

I'd go for money upfront. But we can manage Dybala if that's the best we can negotiate.

Paulo Dybala is willing to join Manchester United. The club have currently offered £150,000 a week to him, but he asks for £210,000 a week.
