Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru is being linked with an imminent move to Monaco. According to L'Equipe, the Principality club are in the market for offensive players and are on the brink of signing Everton-owned winger Onyekuru. A transfer fee of seventeen million euros is being mooted and it is claimed that the player has been offered a five-year contract. Onyekuru could replace Monaco's Colombia hitman Radamel Falcao who is reportedly close to a switch to Galatasaray. The Turkish Super Lig champions are among the teams interested in signing the Nigerian this summer but it appears they are lagging behind Monaco in the race for his services. Monaco sent their representative to monitor Onyekuru in the Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in April 2019 and the Super Eagle seems to have impressed their scout thanks to his goal in the 66th minute. 1 Like |

Tosin Adarabioyo has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan from Manchester City. The Premier League champions confirmed Adarabioyo's move on their club website on Wednesday with a short heartwarming message for the youngster. "Everyone at City wishes Tosin the best during his time at Blackburn." The Man City website did hint that gaining more game time was the thoughts behind the loan deal for the towering defender. "The defender, who joined City as a five-year-old, will look to continue gaining experience at Championship level after making 36 appearances for West Brom during a loan spell last term." Adarabioyo made his City debut against Chelsea in 2016 and in 2016/17 played against Steaua Bucharest and Celtic in the Champions League. "In total, he has made eight first-team appearances for City and has also represented England at youth level on 15 occasions," the website went further to recall. The 2019/2020 season in the Championship starts this weekend with Blackburn Rovers hosting Charlton Athletic in a 3pm kick off game. 2 Likes |

David Okereke has revealed he turned down a chance to join Southampton in the Premier League in England so as to join Club Brugge. Okereke became the Belgian club’s most expensive signing after he cost them eight million Euros when he moved from Italian Serie B club Spezia. The former Abuja Football College star also revealed that he received offers from several Serie A clubs. He told Het Laatste Nieuws: “US Sassuolo kept calling. They were very specific. Although I still had options in the Serie A with Cagliari and Brescia . ” Okereke scored on his league debut for Club Brugge at Waasland-Beveren last weekend. 1 Like |
