DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 31 JULY 2019/STAGE ANALYSIS OF SOME STOCK

MSCI still quiet in the market.

I have observed that the stage analysis cannot be used blindly without the backing of some fundamental analysis/ other technical indicators.

Nonetheless we are enjoying the stage analysis details. Now I can put my money in companies that will allow me to sleep well. Let us see our analysis of some companies in stage 1 for this week?

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). Their trading platform is different, they migrated from the X-GEN in 2018.

You'll have to place your order with a stockbroker. I'll advice you to place a price limit on your order as the bid/ask there is usually wide.

Thanks for your advice. It is the conventional wisdom. However, if you decide to play in the Nigerian market at all, you are faced with these issues all over with the possible exception of Guaranty Trust. AIICO is in the insurance sector which is fairly simpler to decipher, especially the life business. You don't have insight into the asset quality of banks and the conglomerates could also have problems with inventories or receivables. In effect, you have to pick your poison or you chose not to play in the Nigerian market at all as a lot of people I know have decided. I chose where I think the downside will not kill me if it crystalizes while there is potentially considerable upside. AIICO is my second concentration in that cycle. I did the same with NEM knowing all their issues with infidelity and it worked out well.

Classic phrase there! grin
I respect your position on this, as you remain the CEO of your portfolio.
Best wishes in all bro.

OBAGADAFFI:

Normally, with your CSCS and CHN you can move for portfolio to another stockbroker.

But i will recommend you contact CSCS first and get Account Statement from your portfolio.

You should supply the New broker your CSCS and CHN numbers, so that they dont create a new one during registration.
ok, thank you!

Does the inactivity of the brokerage house affect my stock? NO! It doesn't affect your stocks but any money you have in your portfolio is gone for good.

Is it possible to move my shares (stock) to a new brokerage house (maybe with my CSS, CHN)? YES.

How can I handle this? Register with another broker first. Activate your account and apply to move your stocks in other house to your new account.

Remember: Use of same name should accompany use of the CHN.
Thanks for this.
So, will the application be done through my new brokerage firm?

Yes, inform them about the situation on ground before registration, so they wouldnt register you with fresh CHN. They'll take you thru the processes required as well as do their part where necessary. They should assist you to get your CSCS statement since you're using same CHN.
